starter motor of course is at the engine bay connected to your engine. As for the spark plugs, you can go for Bosch Super 4 or if you have higher budget then go for iridium spark plugs. For the cable, there are few types available, see either u prefer original or those with better performance. You can search in the forum here as there are many forummers selling parts for Wira.

Just try replace it.
1) Car not yet warm up. i.e. the engine oil and gearbox oil (especially auto-box) need around 10-15 minutes to warm up. Better is 15-20 minutes.
Therefore, for the initial 15 minutes, try not to rev >3k rpm.
The temperature needle is showing the radiator water temperature only. Not oil.
Just drive like an old uncle and be patient when overtake by kapchai, kancil, etc.

2) I suspect aircond too cold. Condensation happens. If weather is not too hot, once temperature is cool enough, tune it down from max-cooling to middle or lower.
Especially ~1-2km before you reach destination, turn it off and let the coil go back near to normal air temperature. If coil is too cold, condensation happens, and mix with the dirt become acidic, corrode your coil and aircond leak.
With my style (turn off cooling 1-2km before reach), for >9 years, I don't need to service / change / top-up my aircond at all. No leak at all. Still cool.

3) Mine 1.5L manual 2002, can get 460-480km for RM75 (~40L). KL city driving 90% with traffic jam. I get about 12.5km//L
Wira tank is 50L, but you won't fully use it up.
I used to refill when the low-fuel lights is permanently on, and I can put in 40-43L easily (RM75-80 @1.90)
Lowest I try is about 45-46L (~RM85)
You won't want to try this, unless you are really very familiar (kamching / got feel) with your car 

Also, when refuelling, don't press max. Leave it at the middle indicator. Slow and steady. Then the trigger won't jump so fast.

Turn off the aircond cooling, but let the blower fan continue blowing.

Guys, will our engine auto shut down when there isn't enough engine oil?...

Recently my car will shut down (i mean straight off itself without jerking) when i wanna accelerate the car after the traffic light turn green or want to turn at a junction. It is very dangerous as i might get a kiss at the back anytime. There is once the engine shut down when i halfway through a corner (i step on the clutch and some braking) and almost go in the drain as the power steering is super heavy.

hi all.. my wira aircond.. will stop blowing cool air if the car is stalled for like 10mins under the hot sun (imagine ur waiting for someone in the car outside their house). the air that comes out will be like normal fan.. but once i started driving again, the cool air will blow again..

any idea why and anyone experienced it before?

can change timing and throttle body is good enough... Play timing no need to buy emanage or anything so no cost however it is linear tuning on the timing.... but its FREE hahahaha.... anything is FREE is GOOD lols

Too bad.... your one if wan to play timing then u have to advance or retard the cam sensor signal and this cam signal is not hall effect... VDO using induction signal..... save some money go for standalone would be fun better than small small mod..  

hey all sifus, wanna ask something quite stupid i know..but the thing is i always feel my wira is different from others nice moded wira..haha...

till then i realise one thing is due to my rim, im using 14" rim, its a bit small, and my question my rim/tyre is underneath my rear fender, meaning that from the rear u will see my rim/tyre is abit "inside" instead of ngam ngam reaching the fender...i think this is the thing that i feel why other wira looks more "bulky/bigger" from behind..haha..

my question is can i add a wheel spacer? what are the effects of it? i googled and some answers i get is not stable when going high speed, but how true is that and what is the high speed? 80km/h or >120km/h?

for wira carb is ok it doesn't trigger the warm up mapping because u dont have any ECU. However why do you want to remove the Thermo? If you remove it, you wont have the correct cooling cycle edi... the reason the thermo was there is to limit the flow so that the water can cool down more at the radiator side before return back to the engine and maintain optimum temp for the engine and engine oil.

just install it back.... coz u will drive more on warm up mapping where FC bad...

during highway ur car will be below operating temp and when traffic jam, your car cant cool enough fast from the radiator and the water edi supplied back and recirculate so it is more bad actually...

guys, here i come reporting in. just got my Wira 1.3 aeroback Manual transmission (year 2002) yesterday.

i desperately need help, hope you guys can help me by giving some input:

1. any recommended workshop in bandar puteri puchong?
2. please recommend me engine oil and price? (very dirty, need to change already)
3. please recommend me timing belt and price? (no replacement date, so i am worried)
4. please recommend me water pump and price?
5. please recommend me head lamp and price? (current one is very dimm, especially right side)

6. besides, when i on highway, frequently i heard the noise of "ngiiit ngiiit ngiiit ..." then it gone when i off the air cond. what is the problem?
7. i cant open the fuel flip cap and also the bonet, estimate how much cost to fix?
8. air cond is not cold, previous owner said he just fixed it b4. but perhaps he is lying. so, how much if to fix it?
9. i opened the radiator top cap, notice that the water is very rusty. do i need to replace it? or is that normal? if replace, how much it cost?

other than those above, anything else i need to ask mechanic to look for potential problem?

Omg, sometimes when i accelerate gently the rpm rises until around 2000rpm and stuck there! Must step abit more then only it continues rising. Happens quite often. What can cause this kind of problem? Dirty fuel filter? Dirty injector? Throttle body? My engine is 4g92p.
