hey i would like ask you guys, did anyone of you experienced the n8 cannot make/receive calls/messages? after restarting the phone everything will be back to normal.

i bought it on 26/4/11 at nokia center

hmm i didnt check the ram n rom at tat time and im using the lastest anna + the service pack already. my phone did nt hang before, but i had experienced it auto restart right after 1 week i bought it

walao eh my n8 orange bought on 26/4/11 now the bottom left corner the paint coming off d have been taking good care of it, never used it harshly before...anyone's n8 experience this?

no casing but got screen protector. I dont put on tables, i ussually put it on top of my wallet. My prev 5610 also naked but did not face this problem.

erm i dont even hold my phone when my hands are dirty :s

sry tried to take photo with my 5610 but the pics are not clear. anyways the unlock button will become grey white and the corner there become those vry dull orange n plastic-ky

if you want the real feel of n8 then it will be leaving it as naked i guess...heheee mine is naked too

haha guess your hand its very smooth then. mine initially was slippery also and easily fall off my hand, but it was actually me that being too careful for the phone and grip it lightly. my phone only fell once out of my hands :S because of that reason.

well it is smooth if u stop comparing with other phones n use it up to ur own expectations

at 1st i was thinking yea android and iOS smoother but hey...our n8 it isnt that bad oni if u look it at another point of view. it is pretty smooth with anna, im sure it will b smoother when belle is out.

1 thing i found out was iOS n android aint really multitasking compared to symbian such as when web browsing i opened new page n i return bac to the page i was browsing and let the new 1 load. for symbian it loads but in iOS it din, as for android im not sure bout it cause i haven try it out yet. all i wanted to say is symbian still has the best multitasking experience to me...just my opinion ^^

haha yea i noe but the photo shooting skills im sure is way better than mine ^^

my orange N8 is oni 7 months old. naked with screen protector since i bought it. so far oni the lock button n left bottom corner paint came off a lil

err when theres an incoming phone call we can straight accept the phone call isnt it?

dial *100# n get ur phone settings again. hope that solves ur prob

did u go connectivity > settings > destinations
delete all access points then get the settings again?

double check the connectivity > network
is in dual mode

if both oso done but doesnt help then i hav no idea as well :S

hey i think i get whats ur prob d. u try edit the pic by slightly adding contrast n brightness to make it look natural brightness but it will look sharper as the contrast increase but not too much ned to b natural. some pics r close enough to take without editing it such as macro shots but when u take far pics may require slight colour editing. just my opinion though

haha the PC table 1 not worth editing la~~ i did mention oni some pics r required to b edited. some photos u can avoid editing by using manual settings for clearer pics. like the pics of the toyota vios are using manual settings to get the effect

aight, since its still under warranty i guess its a wise choice to send to NCC.
