N8 (etc) quoted to get cut-down Belle FP1 with new browser

  -FP1 for N8 will be available soon, and will include, in particular, the updating of the browser to the new version 8.2 and Nokia Social.

    -The update will still be small compared to the official FP1, already available for the S^3 terminals that support it, adapted to the processor on the N8 (already exploited almost to the limit with the latest updates).

    -Probably there will be a minimal overclock the processor (as far as possible for ARM11 mounted on N8).

    -According Fiorin always, then, N8 will also FP2 (as Carla was  shelved ).

I just bought this phone 2nd hand for RM550, other shop sells for RM700+. It was on old S^3 when I bought it, quickly I updated to Belle when I get home. Huge improvement over ^3. Anything else I should do to it?

This thread makes anyone think twice whether should get a N8 or a DLSR lol.

But with data disabled and use GSM network, the battery life is just excellent. It's been 5 days straight and it still 80% battery! My Droid Razr with downclock to 600MHz and similar condition only lasts 2-3 days before reaching 20-30% battery. I took about 300 photos now, just regular photos some with flash some without. Symbian is quite an efficient OS, sad that no one supports it and favor more power hungry OS's like WP, iOS and Android.

I just can't stand connected all the time to the internet. The temptation to browse is always there, so by limiting to desktop and laptop is good enough. It's very bad for me because even only on both devices I could spend half of the day browsing. I wanted to enjoy outdoor stuff more instead locked up inside digital world
