what to look for bro? everything like history n cookies are cleared~ any advice?

mostly u install applications or games at C drive? quite hard to do because non-modded cant uninstall some unnecessary default application..huhu, it just my opinion to clean-up drive C, hope other masters and experts can help our guy here

no, all additional apps are installed in E drive. is it safe if i delete the whole C:/System/Cache folder?

i ask because your drive C left only few free space..sorry, i will look this problem in other ways i think please dont delete any folder related to drive C if u dont know what the functionality of the files..i never do that so i cant give the right answer can or not..

yeah, I understand dat~ n i asked abt the cache folder bcoz in windows there is no harm deleting the content of that folder~ huhu~

haha, that right but in hp OS i dont know much.. btw, i'm looking for premium casing for my N8, so hard to find..looking for rubber case that fully protected the N8 body, like IMAK design case..

delete all thing at C-private \1020735b. u can get ur MB back

Next time when you install things, try not to put them into your C:\ drive. Treat it like your computer ^^

While it is possible to get 170+MB with a brand new N8 on Symbian3, it impossible to get that on Anna. I think the maximum you can get is 110+MB. So how do you do that?

Added on February 2, 2012, 10:11 amIt is possible. For example default application Shazam
1. Go to OVI store to install exact same Shazam into your phone memory.
2. Uninstall Shazam (this time, there will be an option to uninstall which previously wasn't available)
3. Go to OVI store again to install Shazam but install to Mass Memory instead.

Personally, I hated mod because of security. I use my CC info on phone.

Since my warranty expired i decided to modded my N8, if i'm not mistaken, mostly modded/hacked can uninstall apps u dont need such as ovi music, gps and etc, so when i modded my N8, i already customize the installation packages which is i was removed some apps i dont need and unnecessary ..

btw, i also counting everyday..cant wait for official belle, want to find out what new in official belle

GPS (Nokia Maps free maps and navigation system) is the only thing no other phone including iPhone or Andriod has. And the only reason why I am still using Nokia.

i just give example..hehe, i also never uninstall the Nokia GPS..hehe, very usefull for me, some more there free also..haha

I have roughly the same amount of space left, maybe due to the fact that I once reinstalled Anna without doing hard reset so maybe there are files that is written twice instead of overwritten. So what I do is I frequently clear browser cookies/cache, delete mms, clear my deleted folder in email and deleted C-private \102072C4. Pain in the ass to do this all the time I know but the alternative to this is only doing a hard reset, which another pain in the ass for me. So I just let it be.

However I plan to hard reset before I get Belle (hopefully soon!) so my phone will really feel like new. In the mean time just have to endure the occasional low memory error msg.

my phone memory for now is 97.9 MB , after delete the private 102072C4 folder

so far okay.. not so laggy

How come ah, I don't have a Private folder in my C Drive wan?
