My first purchase from Amazon.. good bargain?

Anyway, ya I have to choose that option if I wan to get my items before christmas, per amazon staff
I'm not very sure how the shipment arrangement as they break into several shipments, They refused to combine all into one time shipment to save on shipping

Will try to avoid it next time >.<

After some revision I bought altogether 17 BDs from Amazon US, which they have split into 5 shipments :S

As a result of expedited international shipping, 2 shipped with UPS and 1 shipped with DHL today, will receive on Thursday, 2 is shipping soon before 2 December..

Guess the split of orders will help me evade some import taxes on BD purchases.

Is it normal for shipping cost to be almost 50% of my purchase Price? I asked for combined shipping but the staff said some BDs are stored in diff warehouse hence additional charges apply.


Anyway, I just realise, for some BDs/ items that they don't usually ship to Malaysia/Singapore, you can ask them to manually add to your order via their customer service! I got myself Step up 3D, an Ipad case and 2 HDMI for this instance.

Yea I felt very bad for my shipping.

Shipping cost is the same if I were to ship to Malaysia. To avoid custom troubles, I ship to Sg (Who knows what kind of trouble i might get as Christmas + New year is around the corner, and I lazy to go KLIA to collect my parcel).

Guess no custom problem now as each parcel is under U$150

I've looked at the tracking code and from the 3 parcels shipped:
Ontario CA US, Cincinnati Hub OH US and Louisville KY US
So guess they really stored at different warehouse location...

I'm not sure the X-Men Quadrilogy from US and UK are both the same set? Since UK states its Region B/2 however the pictures did show some region ABC on the disc cover. I just ordered at risk from Amazon UK

I'm very happy with amazon. Choosed expedited shipping for 21 BDs. Order placed on 25 nov however I kept making revision and finalised on 29 Nov. Amazon shipped via DHL and UPS.
2 parcels arrived on 1Dec, 1 on 2Dec, 4 on 5dec and last on 8Dec.

Satisfactory delivery and wrap!
Hope they decide to release andship some ps3 games in near future!

Sometimes just want to watch movies that is not screen in Malaysia or not screened yet...
Like I'm from a small town with a pathetic 2 theater cinema and not all shows will be screened, and no speedy or DVD/BD version not released yet, so most of us can only resort to Captain Jack.

I was guilty for it until I find out about the bargains in Amazon!

Sorry for sounding a little rude but since you have had experiences with them why do you sounded so kancheong over one order? And never used the customer service before?

On the road sometimes we face traffic jams, deliveryman will face same problem also...
