hey guys

i got an old msi mb which i want to check to see if got latest bios or not

but they ask me to download some stupid crap called live update 5 and when i install it and run it i hang and doesn't do anything except eating up all my cpu

how can i manually just download the latest bios rom file ??????

HAHAHAHAHHAHA. Now, which idiot asked you to download Live Update 5? the most supidest software I've ever encountered.

what motherboard are you using? You can download the latest BIOS at the product page from MSI's webby.

well the webpage call me to download cause i can't find the direct link to the bios..

when i click on bios they ask me download live update 5..

any idea where i can find the direct link to the bios rom ?

The bios does not have option for updating via pendrive/HDD.

orly? MSI MY did flashed the new BIOS for me before via pendrive. Heck, he even sent me a copy of the BIOS to flash, a beta one tho..he even advised me not to use LV5.

o wait, does flash and update share the similar definition?
