I activate the GPS from the drag down screen and run Papago and GPS Test .. Didnt run Packet Data .. (Before i get my data plan , haven try after i get my data plan)

Are you asking for a shortcut that can on/off data rather than going settings > network > mobile network > data ?
IF so, you can actually on/off data by just press and hold the power key, then a menu will come out. Then jz click on the 'Data network mode'. Automatically off if you had it on, or on if you had it off.

Anyone here pissed off with SGS2's default inclusion of the voice talk ( vlingo ) app which gets invoked whenever the home button is pressed ?

It's supposed to be invoked when the home button is DOUBLE pressed , however sometimes when the phone is slightly laggy , it somehow misinterprets the single click of home button as double click. Hence 6 out of 10 times i've got vlingo invoked UNINTENTIONALLY.

really really pisses me off that there's no way to turn this away other than rooting and then freezing the damn thing .

my sgs2 battery only can last 7-8 hours on standby mode? is it normal? i wanna do data reset soon.

it will wipe our phone right? i got this CSC from xda site and it comes with .exe file. so we have to load it thru download mode with odin select CSC right?

thanks guys. i do notice some delay on my whatsapp and friendcaster notifications on 2G compare to 3G. my practice is to always have 2G on, and only switch to 3G when i need to browse. i also turned off all syncs too. that gives me a minimum of 1 day of batt life.

i just got my gt i9100g yesterday, is it just me or is there a screen protector that is already applied on the phone?

The front rooting kinda  confusing.. which one should follow?

Manage to get 4 hrs 6 mins as well today from 100% down to 18%. But my data not on 24/7 just when required. About 30 mins plus of active surfing and downloading apps from market. Also 1hr playing anime with bluetooth stereo and 1 hr of diversion game.

now looking for micro-SD, which brand and class is good for i9100?
im thinking on sandisk, but its only class4.

battery life is bad...thinking on how to improve it...

1 question: M'say telco companies have LTE technology? Most of areas still don't have 3G connection.
