Guys, i heard that S2 is not really good in taking pictures in dimmed conditions. Haven't really tried it myself, but is there any ways to improve?

Is there a quick way or softkey to be install at the notification bar there to toggle data network on/off and switching GPRS or 3G ?
*
Are you asking for a shortcut that can on/off data rather than going settings > network > mobile network > data ?

IF so, you can actually on/off data by just press and hold the power key, then a menu will come out. Then jz click on the 'Data network mode'. Automatically off if you had it on, or on if you had it off.

You didn't activate you Samsung Dive to track and locate your SGSII.?
If you know and like flashing custom roms then try to get a non-G version. Though hard to find, i believe you can still buy one out there.
Happy hunting :-)

what's that samsung dive? AP can register??

It need your phone GPS to pin point the location. Else, it will use telco tower triangulation method.
*
Ehh, I see it triggered my GPS. So I think it was using my GPS rather than the telco tower triangulation method.

Hey guys, since I remember you guys mentioned about juice defender, I decided to give it a try, but it doesn't really tell me how it works, as in like which mode, what will it do.

Any guys care to give me a review on this app?

use green power instead..simple and gets the job done

Hmm...same thing? Better in what way?

From what I know juice defender off data when screen is off right? So what if I don't want like this. I want the phone to fetch data every 30mins, so I can receive whatsapp. No need to go on the screen. =.="

Btw, anyone using Vlingo?

Go to schedule, select frequency. I select 15min so every 15min, data will on and I will have a 1min sync. You can select 5mins, 15min and many more from there.

I would also say green power is okay but you are not able to customize as much as jd. I personally use jd for sometime and pretty good I would say. If you want simple, then of course green power is easier.
*
I don't see schedule. Does green power allow me to refresh every 30 minutes?

Dear Sifus,
Here's my screen shot of my battery life.
Left it idle whole night but still consumed 30% of my battery.
Any advice on what i did wrong? Or forgot to do?
Thanks in advance!

Happened to me once too. Get the betterbatterystats app, get it free from the xda forum, then we can find out which app is making your phone awake all time. Then we only know what to do.

Clear all my non-current apps' data? those I have uninstalled?

Seriously have you installed betterbatterystats. These high drains can be solved once we pinpoint the source (which i guess is the facebook app).

Confession...

It was me.. blush.gif

Yeap, chat is really sucking the juices all the time, so I usually have a routine check on betterbattstats.

One question. Can the Green Power kill it?

Just hope they have a thin super battery to support that spec.

Thin super battery. LOL
I doubt they can make it in 1yr time.

well, but who knows, I hope for that too. But I think if they can really make it, the price is gonna be superrrrrrrrrr expensive and it should major technology breakthrough (shut all the i.... ahems' mouth) lol

LOL don't think like this, else you won't buy any phone. If you wait for S3, then you will see S4 specs (like 4 cores), then you wait again. It's endless to wait for better one.

With current S2 specs, everything run at full speed. 1GB ram is more than enough, it always have 300~500MB free RAM.

1.2 GHz is also enough for most of apps. Next time if not enough, just overclock and wait it spoil, then change new one. tongue.gif

Oh ya, here's the  1.2 GHz VS 1.6 GHz overlock screen shot that I taken yesterday.

let me complain abit can anot?...

buying these gadgets, I have already know there's never a best one. Cuz better ones will keep on coming. But I will still use my phone until it give up on me (fingers crossed at my s2 not to give up so soon).

I haven't root my machine. So can't do the overclock.
But overclock will consume more battery juice right?

Btw, sometimes I happen to experience lag. Not sure what's wrong.
