Need to provide more details, using stock rom or custom rom?Rooted or not? Try factory reset and see if problem still exist,if still send back to sc. if rooted make sure to use titanium backup to backup ur apps
*
had this problem back when i was still on stock rom and unrooted. I rooted and flashed my phone 1 week after i got it. Since VR and now on Batista70 2.3, still the same.

Already tried factory reset though hmm.gif I always clear everything including dalvik and battery stats when i flash new rom. It doesn't happen when I leave it on my desk or hold it in my hands when walking rclxub.gif

Very hot.?? No it's not normal for the phone to become very hot under normal usage. Warm..yes. Hot..very seldom. Very hot..never.!
Most probably you tested a malfuction or defect demo phone. Try for another set or at different shop.

guys, need some help, sorry if this has been asked before..

i persuaded my mum in buying S2 for herself, and boy how i wish i dint.
because now she couldnt send any mms without activating data packet first. I dont want her to get BillShock so i turn it off.
of course, she's not on data plan but never had this prob with her ever-so-reliable nokia to send/receive mms.

with all the googling, nothing helps. anyone face this situation? getting a smartphone without data plan but only wish to mms?

i dont need anyone to tell me 'MMS needs data, get a data plan' because her nokia can MMS without data plan because it automatically switch on data and off after sending/receiving it.

and why not S2?? please shed some light, thanks...

btw, she's with DiGi smile.gif

Im thinking his definition of hot isnt same as our definition of hot. My s2 frens say their device get hot easily, since they coming from nokia.

I have the N97 Mini, and I can say for sure that both phones run at the same temperatures after heavy use. One afternoon, I charged my N97 full and then browsed on wifi until it died. Lasted 3 hours and the metal back cover was very hot. The temperature of my N97 does not really rise when gaming, just browsing the internet depletes the battery crazy fast.

Back to the topic: My CheckROM seems to be about the same on my battery as my KI3. Down to 15% after screen on for 3 hours and gaming for at least 30 mins, and I can say that the screen was on medium to high brightness most of the time. And this is with GPS coming on by itself last night

Got to agree here. Sometime people say hot but it is not like 50 degrees. Sometime 35 sudah cakap hot. Warm should be a better term brows.gif

I don't think so. Once the service centre cannot trace your ewarranty, they will ask for your buying receipt and your warranty will be based from the buying date
