Hi guys,

I've been using galaxy s2 for 2 month now and everything was fine. Then suddenly my wifi stopped working.

Wifi is connected but I cannot access any internet. Wifi is okay because my laptop is fine and it's my home wifi so I've using it for past 2month. It just stopped working. Even though it is connected.

In one sentence: Wifi is connected but no internet access. Anyone can help to solve this thing. i already reset the router n make a new connection also cannot.already reset the phone and router also cannot work. i using tm d-link dsl-2640b model. any sugesstion?

Just now i also facing the same problem as you. I believe is the streamyx or your internet provider DNS problem. you are actually connected to the internet just that your phone is unable to get the correct domain name from your service provider. either wait for them to fix the DNS or just change your DNS. Just now i just set my DNS server at my s2 to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. it can access internet again ^^

how to change it at the phone bro. sorry i quite new with this phone. heheh....

goto settings-->Wireless and Network -->WiFi-Settings-->(click on the left menu button)Advanced

there u can set ur network setting just like ur computer. default is automatic ip address. u just tick use static ip and configure the rest.

by the way, u can open up command prompt and type ipconfig to see ur network configuration regarding ip address, gateway, netmask.
DNS 1 and DNS 2 just set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
