Alli's goal..oh my God.. shocking.gif drool.gif

When that went it I clapped and giggled like a little boy. Bloody brilliant goal. Shame about his later effort which came back off the bar.

a setback against west ham....but at the very least 2nd spot should be spurs'
season still has some games left, but it looks like leceister's fixtures, on paper, are easier

but still, anything can happen......no matter if spurs or leceister wins the title, this season has been magnificent for both.....
*
I will be happy if Spurs qualify for the Champions League, either via finishing in top 4 or winning the Europa. Finishing above Arsenal would be a bonus.

Yes, it has been a magnificent season, but I am still waiting for things to go horribly wrong...

Yes, fantastic team performance. Although I wish that penalty had gone in. As a long time Spurs fan, I was nervous as hell with 10 minutes to go even with a 2-goal lead.

Well, that was a tough win at Burnley with a reshuffled side. What's really worrying is that injury to Winks. It is a shame as he has been improving steadily over the last couple of months.

Just let this list of records sink in:

Club Record 86 points total in the Premier League
Most wins in a season (26W)
Most goals in a season (86)
Most clean sheets in a season (17)
Fewest goals scored conceded (26)
*
These are fantastic stats, but they don't tell the whole story. For the first time since I've been following Spurs, they are playing as a complete team. We have a great fluid attack backed by a solid dependable defence. This being Spurs, I'm not sure how long it is going to last, but I plan on enjoying every minute of it. COYS!

And I thought it was going to be a quiet transfer window for Spurs...

In:
Davinson Sánchez Ajax £42m

Paulo Gazzaniga Southampton £2m

Out:
Kyle Walker Manchester City £50m
Kevin Wimmer Stoke City £18m
Nabil Bentaleb Schalke £16.8m
Clinton N’Jie Marseille £6.1m
Federico Fazio Roma £2.8m
Josh Onomah Aston Villa loan
Cameron Carter-Vickers Sheffield United loan

That was an impressive and much needed win against Dortmund. Dier and Winks were bloody impressive. This should ease some of the pain from Saturday's loss. Some.

Anyway, guaranteed top of the group of death with a game to spare is much more than most Spurs fans expected when the draw was made.

Well that was deserved win over Arsenal, but it should have been a more comfortable. It got quite stressful towards the end.

Seven points from games against Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal is a pretty decent return.

Fantastic game. Dembele and Eriksen dominated the midfield. And I'm so glad Aurier is suspended for the return leg. tongue.gif

Wouldn't be Spurs if our grand plans don't go tits up every few seasons. Lets just hope Poch stays as he seems to prefer team building to managing a team of divas.

Thanks, Cloud0890. Learned a lot from the article.

It won't be easy for Spurs to replace such a talented player who doesn't complain about being a sub.

Would hate to lose Alderweireld as his replacement Sanchez is so inconsistent.

Dembele's skills are nearly irreplaceable.

Rose is disruptive and should just piss off. tongue.gif

If he goes we don't have a lot of cover at right-back. Not a big fan of his, especially when combined with Sissoko on the same flank. ranting.gif I get palpitations when he gets the ball near our penalty box. And yet... his cross for Dele won the game last week.

I still have hope that Pochettino will work his full-back magic on the Ivorian like he did with Rose, Walker, Trippier, and Davies.

Dear lord. Please no. Mourinho only works in the short term, with lots of financial support. Can't see Levy backing Jose's usual expensive transfers.
