the next few matches will put spurs in ties which will test the team's credentials as title contenders.
crucial few weeks for harry and his man.

Never really question Harry's transfer policies but Saha's deal is real weird one
Injury prone & not exactly in his prime seems like a burden
Hope he proves me wrong.

that guy who came on late in the Wigan match seem like a prospect
It's time we hv a talent coming thru the ranks say someone like a King..

ryan nelson is also another confirmed signing...jeeeeez why is Harry making Spurs a CL quality team an old folks home...

Saha (VdV to play alongside) is scheduled to make his debut today judging from the pre match reports with Adebayor or Defoe is unlikely to start.
Let see how he adapts to Spurs's pacy & attacking play.

we've always had stars coming over to join us in their older years in the past.  for example, Klinsmann, Sheringham, Lineker etc.

Added on February 2, 2012, 10:49 pmalso read this interesting statistic.

Spurs after 23 PL matches:
2007-08: 44 goals, 27 points
2009-10: 44 goals, 41 points
2011-12: 44 goals, 49 points
*
great stat- it'd b nice to see the sum for goals conceded as well.
i suppose this year round the difference is we were more resilient especially grinding out the away results.
the biggest surprise is how well Kaboul has played throughout the season keeping out Dawson in the squad.I always had the impression that he is a bit shaky but this round he is playing well.

we'll definitely get a new tall, lumbering striker in the summer.

I find it VERY unlikely that Ade takes a pay cut.

He'll go back to MC, and then get loaned again to another team next year. 225k per week, gets to play football every week; he's living the good life  laugh.gif
*
totally agreed with you bro.
his wages is ridiculously high and definitely spurs wage structure is unable to cope.
harry's got lots of work in search for a quality striker and with a CL spot (I hope!) the credential of a player of scoring at least 15 goals is a MUST

About Kaboul, I still prefer Dawson, maybe because I'm biased. I think Kaboul is quite clumsy lol.

And Ade, i dunno lah but years ago when he was at Arsenal and Man City (and also RM), he play very good only at the beginning before fizzling out. Maybe his lack of motivation. If he signs permanently with us maybe he'll enter his comfort zone again and become useless.

I like Llorente a lot. And who knows maybe we can land Drogba  laugh.gif
*
Yes I do like Llotente too his height n presence will do us well.
Ade needs a competitor keep him on his toes.now he is 1st on the team sheet so he can afford to slack off
Defoe frankly deserves a go.i am sure all the spurs fans here know how agonisizingly close he was to secure 3 points for us at city.

Tonight another big one for us..any predictions guys...

Tactically Harry got it wrong.there is no balance in midfield.
kranjcar should have started on the right.we only had width wherever bale was...and if he paced through the center no one was playing wide.
Kaboul was solid throughout 1st half of the season but yesterday (and probably the last 3 games) was at fault for the goal.real softie...

He's is out for soo long i don't really see how he can fit into the team anymore.
The competition is in the form of the current England captain parker, our playmaker modric, the tough tackler sandro and the promising livermore.

Just a few years back huddlestone was almost a certain starter...

Same same old Harry
Why was he starting 5 in midfield? We are playing at home needing a win.
After the lead the whole team lost the impetus
Great header ade!

very tricky tie today last time round we only knicked it with a single pav goal.sunderland has nothing to play for tis season so their effort might suprise us.
lennon must start to give us the balance so bale can open play up and modric can run the show in the middle.let's also hope Ade continues with his scoring form.
COYS

the hungrier team won.

just take note that the slide came with the england job vacancy.  annoying FA!!!!....

Abang ihawk no need to blame the fa, Harry's tax evasion..blah blah..
Spurs is like an inflatable balloon..start of the season bloated up so big n now is at the tail end of what is remaining.
If u run through the form we are on relegation form.

Agree with u on not having equally good replacements.
I will b damned if the arse*** gooners wins. Newcastle is incredible these days.
Ekotto shld hv scored n bale hitting the bar was unlucky.

sorry guys i have lost faith in the team's efforts for the remaining games of the season (u can forget about playing CL next season) This is the worse run spurs is currently on and stop blaming the tough fixtures. I think losing at home to norwich was the limit for me.
i understand harry's optimism to finish for a CL spot but the last 6-8 games show our burn out, lack of desire and frankly inexperience to survice the last run in.
sorry guys sad to say this but at the rate we will be placed 6th.

Spurs had 22 shots, 19 corners and 63% possession and we scored 1 miserable goal, a dubious penalty
Harry waited 89 mins to do a tactical change and guess who he brought on..Parker?!? knowing very well Defoe n Saha is on the bench.

Sorry guys but I am no master tactician but Harry got it wrong again once more.
The team is to be blamed failing to capitalize, regaining and cementing the 3rd spot.
Last night's game was HUGE for the team n our failure against a dreadful villa team underlines big big problem under Harry.......

Verthonghen expectation to perform is now increased with king's retirement.
