at half time, i told my friend that Bale needs to go wide as we had no width.

at 9.56pm, when Holtby and THudd came on, i told my friends that Defoe on for Ade and we can win this....and then it happened. 3 goals in 7 minutes!!!

I'll still wait to hear from Spurs officially about Paulinho. If he is confirmed, I expected him to start alongside Sandro as this would be the expected central midfield pairing for Brazil for 2014 World Cup.

New signings truly made an impact.

Paulinho won almost all his tackles. Capoue was a beast and boss the players when he took them on.

Chadli has some acceleration and can shoot from outside the box. Soldado's movement off the ball is good.

Rose is speedy and hardworking. He just needs to keep his emotions in check.

All in all, a nice attacking game. The team will continue to gel and then we will see what we can do!
