World of Warcraft makes inroads into SEA

Well, after playing WOW US for 3 years and now WOW Taiwan for a year. I dont feel much about this news. This is like my dream come true since playing at US, SEA server, better latency and stuff.

But after when i make the switch to WOW TW and started the Coffeenottea English guild. I seriously dont see any more needs for a SEA server.

As many comments in the massively thread, it may do more harm than good.

Nevertheless, lets see how it goes.

This is definitely good news for us wower in Malaysia.

sorry, id rather spend more monies to play in the US servers, unless they shift the whole oceanic to SEA in which left me with little choice...

Having lots of underage morons will ruin the game, especially non-english speaking people who went ching chong pinoy siam every second in the game... i can foresee a stormwind or orgrimmar with weirder orchish language than orcs

Could not be bothered to buy another copy of WoW and all of its expansion and levelling up a toon unless if they allow paid transfers of which I doubt it.

Good news in term of latency and availability of ppl playing on the same time but in term of gameplay experience.. no comment..

Let's just wait and see what comes next..

If I understood correctly, this has nothing to do with Blizzard setting up servers in the SEA region.
What's with all these talk of lower latency?

Is there any free/paid accounts transfer when WoWTw were introduced? If there is none.. so I doubt it..

Nope you still have to pay to transfer in WoW TW.

But generally, WoW TW is much more cheaper compared to other region, since you don't have to buy starter pack and expansion in order to get into the latest content, you just have to pay monthly or game hour to play.

I suspect WoW SEA might follow this way.

If WoWSEA is in F2P mode like most of those chinese/korean/taiwan MMO, I will never join SEA servers. You either get bullied like filthy rich bugger who spend RM 20k in a week to buy gear or annoyed by cheapskate morons who never spend a single cent. I'm just a poor peasant who can afford to spend RM 60 per month

i just want to start play WoW..and now the new server is coming already and it is from Asiasoft? i rather play US server instead...im just a poor fag that only want a good gameplay =P

There is no bots available for WoW i thought? =\ only gold farmers.

Even if Asiasoft allow bots, do you think blizzard will allow Asiasoft to do so?

Wait what ? Damn ...I've leveled my priest my paladin and now my Death Knight and this.
If the servers are in SEA and if its f2p , I may consider it as well , else I am sticking with my US Servers

If you're new and wanna try wow, consider / take a look at wowtaiwan.

even sea server is setting up, i'm not going to play at SEA, as i'm not going to leave my tw, hk friends at wow tw...

even they provide the free transfer from TW to SEA
unless they block the connection to TW

I buy if i can pay RM115 for 120 hours instead of RM115 for 60 days just like how WoW chinese/tw does.
But low change cause i like my characters now.

Asiasoft will allow anything that profits them.

SEA servers will be crawling with begging & hacking & gold buyers to the max.

i don't care if SEA server had over 9000 gold farmers

At the end of the day, those kids still get owned by the higher skill people.

And games is just for fun purpose, not jealousy or hatred.

Nevertheless, it's been a long time last played official WoW server so if there is a SEA server i definitely join.

Now i'm talking about, will Blizzard allows them to do so? Even if they do, they surely will cancel their license to distribute the game.

u think gold buying and hacking will bring them ultimate achievement? even with epic gear u can buy wont make you defeating every bosses across the azeroth(luckily most of the epic stuff are boss drop).... max geared pvp set wont championing you at the arena. WoW is about skills and synergy among players. not hanky panky botting like other MMORPG...

I rather stick back with US server instead of playing in ASIASOFT server with bunch of arrogant kids and hacker aka kia su people.

ASIASOFT doesn't have alot people to take care their other games server and now they going to ruin the blizzard reputation.

which remind me that i helped my nephew call to asiasoft regarding about the game call sudden attack and the customer service request me send an email and wait for their replies which they can't solve a small matter problem as i was just asking them how come we not able to reload the game card. THIS IS LMAO!!!

They might just give rights to Asiasoft. Probably , they'll release a SEA WoW and Blizzard would maintain their servers. It may be going to be like WoW Taiwan and WoW might get translated into Bahasa. I wouldn't be surprised at all

If just rights for Asiasoft and Blizzard maintain their server I do hope that they have monthly basic system instead of those cash shop shit haha

Guess you still don't get whats the point of my previous post that says about i'm poor blabla thing, you really need to have "joke" in your mind.

If this means low latency, I'd consider re-leveling. Plus, I can get all my previously private server friends to play with me.

And a lot less hassle in scheduling raids and stuff.

Just hope the GMs will be useful...

I'd rather you come over to WoW TW and use WoW US client to play, SEA server are not gonna make it with pinoys/thais all around ruining the trade channel with their language.

Not to mention the "eh, oh, la, zzz, mcb, knn, F1-F10 (maplesea language, don't ask me what are they)", you name it.

Argh.... when the next news about it T.T I just wan start back but need wait till don know when.

Those aren't new news at all... its just rumors, just play WoW TW if you wanna enjoy smooth gameplay, we already have a english guild established.

I don't see anywhere in that announcement that AS is hosting servers lol! Everyone didn't read the part where it says "Publish", just like how AS "Published" WoW during TBC/WotLK then publishing rights went to IAH who did an awful job of promoting Cataclysm, then now it's back to AS again xD

Hahaha bringing this kind of matured game to places like malaysia is a total joke. look at our local game community. bunch of 15 16 years old small kids who are anti-social, only strives to be the best, very individualistic, farm gold, jealousy, hatred blablabla.. Its not something like cabal online, or those conventional online games where ppl just whack the shit out of bosses by just spam clicking.. This game needs synergy to kill bosses, with mutual cooperation of the whole raid team. 1 idiot who do stupid mistakes wipes the team.. Please imagine, a guild whose members are all below 17 years old.. I would be surprised if they can make it through final raid bosses haha.

Dont get me wrong, been playing at US servers for some time. Me myself is from an asian chinese guild, least of all I had a good leader who speaks good english and majority of us were >20 that time.. things go wrong rarely.. US servers has their own version of bad apples as well.. also bunch of small kids who loves trolling around with vulgarity. Least of all they are literate during raids, understand english and simple instructions..

personally i think our local culture doesnt suit this game until they reach a certain level of maturity. sry for anyone offended . have a nice day
