i've never been a big fan of Mario Kart (as a single player experience at least) but after reading the review ... i feel the reviewer wants the game to play more like MarioNation Racers than anything else.

it's a harsh score but i believe the underlying point is he wants Nintendo to make a different type of game.

also i'm not sure if he played passed 100cc races (he probably got bored bfor reaching there) as he complains of it beings slow paced. the point of the Glider not making any gameplay difference is also suspicious ... probably didn't get into the mood of looking for shortcuts and all.

never mind review scores, if u've enjoyed mario kart all this time on current gen releases (whichever time), u already know what to expect and will enjoy/hate it no matter on what. if u've never liked it, no matter how good review scores are u'll still won't like it.

as for me, always know what to expect and still look forward to playing, especially during multiplayer mayhem . can't blame nintendo for redoing their franchise again and again, but still, ppl who know and enjoyed STILL buy em right?

Also, I want to know about some of the games I think would be cool... I know some of them aren't out yet, but let me know what you think!
