i also want to know about this. too tempted to buy. when i wanted to register amazon to buy this game, the billing address does not have country option. i do hope steam will put on some promotion soon.
edit: it was so tempting that i use a fake address and bought it. then use the key to activate it to steam and download it there.

What do i have to do to get the free DLC? Play turkey-something before 2nd December? i just play that map to get it activated? was away for the weekend and came back to a huge ass patch.
just click install dlc on steam. the turkey dlc is free until 2nd december. well u only get costumes on it. btw, i just soloed turkey insane. maybe i'll upload it later, 15GB video woo.
well i did step by step, easy>medium>hard>insane. so yea i got all costumes. not that hard. since i can do it again if i want to.
only need fast huntress with high damage crystal tracker, decent fairy, decent resistance. and keep putting prox trap at center of the map in each build phase.
then when playing, keep looking at map. as in you ALWAYS look at map for turkey.
well in my opinion they are still a small and "young" company. well the game is released in about 1 month ago. so i forgive them for mistakes they made.
the community (at least on the official forum) is a bit childish too.
complain survival takes too long, want something shorter but harder. trendy gives uber monster fest. then complain uber monster fest is too easy to farm items.
complain towers are useless vs dark elf warriors. trendy nerf dark elf warriors. then complain it's easy and no fun.
the end game of this game will be about farming super items apparently. but i really do enjoy playing campaign when i was a noob. it was fun!
i still think the game worth my money because it's quite cheap and is still enjoyable.
Seriously, I still don't understand what the fuss about the constant updating. I just wondering are you guys gaming 24x7 on Dungeon Defenders?
The rants/complain are more towards people who farm thousands of hours and try to get uber weapon and it get patched the next day and you have to find new weapon.
Isn't that good? At least there's "next target" of getting a better uber weapon. Or is it in this case it's the gamers who just want to pay and play 1 time then run off? I don't get it really.
i believe the fuss is not really about constant updates but the "immature" updates. like patches that causes issues, problems. patches that feels untested. which of course will be followed up by another 2 or 3 patches.
i don't play this game to farm item so to be honest i don't really care. right now i'm trying to finish all achievement and get my chicken.
note that not all of the maps will be included in the Part 1 of the DLC. $3.99 is fair enough i think for each part. with maybe $12 bundle all 4 parts.
or buy all 4 parts for $9.75 during this -25% offer and receive nightmare mode.
