this is a koperasi restaurant. this koperasi has been helping the poor for many years now. they give out $$ to the poor every month. they sometimes even give cloth & stuff. can see ppl que in front of the office whenever things r being given away.

the place is Medan Tuanku, near Maju Junction. can get there via monorail. this koperasi has pawn shop, clinic & alot of other things, mainly to help muslims. they started this restaurant 2 years ago, with the cheapest b'fast = roti kosong 40sen & teh tarik 60sen

btw, this has nothing to do with BN or UMNO. the gov later came up with the idea of encouraging other food vendors to do the same with gov support. i think recently only started. i happen to pass by when Najib was there yesterday. big crowd.

its for everyone, but they do operating in a muslim environment. if female customers visit, i'd advice do not wear sleeveless or shorts, respect a bit.

it wasnt "name" 1malaysia menu to be cheap, the place existed before najib become PM

plus, whoever or whatever organisation that started the foundation can choose which religion common ground they stood. its like when church giving out food & supplies to people, you'd have to listen to them say grace before eating, but of cos u have the freedom to choose not to pray with them.

different, najib one got 2 chicken wings.... u take one more chicken wing discount 50%, so rm3
