rclxms.gif Very nice. I would be saving up the the soundproofing. How would rate the sound proofing? I mean for a Iswara, you know very noisy can it be quite like an Altis or Camry? I am not aiming too high here. tongue.gif

Hi Bro,

Can do on the floor panel?
*
We cover the kick panel (front floor near the throttle pedal side and other passenger side).
We cover crucial area which is the cause of noise rather then "cincai" cover the whole floor which cost more and waste material. This make cost reasonable and results is very very powerful.

vios car review:

have done for package 1.

confirm after done the soundproof for the 4 doors, it get better then before. feel more quiet。

however for the dashboard, i feel the sound from engine is still same. maybe all well known Vios engine is noisy.

wind noise no more, but of course it will feel there have increase of engine sound and road sound. it means you have to do the fender soundproof and so on to balance it.hahahaha... save money for next package.

overall, is worth to take. keep it good work kevin.

Bro Icecube,
But how is this material comparable to Dynamat. Reason why I ask cause Dynamat looks much thicker than the picture shown.

For sound proofing, shouldn't thicker foam be better in absorbing the sound away.

Then should come up a special front bonnet package for the Vios. biggrin.gif Thanks for the reviews. When you do the fender package,i'll throw in a free bonnet sound barrier to quiet down your engine noise (hopefully). biggrin.gif

Dynamat is made from other material, not too sure if better then this but its surely much more expensive and heavy since its thicker. Since this material is used by car manufacturer , i guess its the best bang for money and definitely do a great job too.

Its stick on the plastic panel. Those like bitumen/dynamat/sp mat is more toward vibration damping rather then noise reduction.

He is one of hundreds of satisfied customer who feels that "cheap thing can be good sometimes" and he feel that its a must for you guys to try it out if you decided to do any type of foaming for your ride. We have the 'kung fu' and different application for different cars/drivers. DIY can be cheaper(or more expensive) but once you foam wrongly, you cant revert back. So, play safe, and my sifu perform his kung fu on your ride for the perfect foam. biggrin.gif

For your 308T, if you want to reduce road/tyre noise, you can do the fender, kick panel and dashboard . Most of the noise is coming in from there.

Will pm you a special price for this special package for your solution.

Hi Kvin,
The foaming is good, and solid whenever i tackle corner, and i guess the wind noise and other NVH are reduced, now hv a noticeable quieter ride. Not to say very very quiet lar..but i guess it is additional feature for the foaming.... Luckily i asked for comfort undercarriage, if not, might be too hard for me....but it proves that it works!! Laterla bro, I check out The USB, right now a bit pokai edi..hahaha

Already done package 3 and totally happy with the outcome .

Even though the new myvi 1.5 has already come with some new soundproofing (whoch could be seen when kevin dismantled the fenders) there was a significant road noise from the tire's.

After doing and I tested on the roads I usually travel and the change was significant especially when loose stones/pebbels is thrown from the tire's to the fender.

All in all Thanks Kevin for the good work and explanation very happy with the oucome .

Reason asking as I'm a bit skeptic when it comes to remove/install back panels and other components.
If you've done a civic fd before I might be more confident on your workmanship.

For my new car the kia sportage, there is no screws visible and all the parts fit very snugly. Cover to covers space is around 1mm as its a seamless join. I too was skeptical about workmanship. For my back area, Kevin took out the all the covers and back seat to treat the fender. After putting it back they look exactly like new, like there is no evidence of the covers being pried open. In total he took out 5 covers and back seat. So should not be any issue with workmanship. If you are worried i would suggest go on a day where there is not much customer and you can inspect the work your self. I did it for my 2 cars and it was superb watching them do it and did not even need to supervise them during the reinstalling back

For the price i paid it very much more professional that the other vendors i have been too

Oh, ya we are more worried about this too then the owner of the car~ biggrin.gif All cars we try to remove and reinstall back properly. I did civic fd on the pillar before , its quite easy to remove and reinstall. nothing special also, unlike Peugeot or KIA cars, then really have to be extra careful as their clip are very fragile compare to honda or toyota.

Sound barriers means sound proof ? no more sound from tyre and engine ?
*
Sound barrier is a material for sound proofing use. It filter most of high pitch noise and mid noise.
Depend on area of application, price varies.
We always use it for doors, tyre and engine noise reduction.

Are you up for a challenge bro? biggrin.gif This is my current car ambient. I wonder by how much the average could be reduce.

Lowest reading is when the engine is idle, no traffic.
Average reading is on crusing (read tyre noise).
Highest reading is mostly due to car passes by, traffic noise.

But still, challenge accepted~ biggrin.gif how much noise can remove also depend how much budget you wanna put in. biggrin.gif Drop by my shop and i'll take your challenge tongue.gif but let me know before you come, might have some cars to do if u pop up suddenly. biggrin.gif

For 4 doors? Or rear boot? normally we would cover the most noise part first which is the boot. Then the fenders then the doors. biggrin.gif

I owe a Vios and my car has vibration sound on front seat belt pillars, doors and dashboard.
Is it ok for me to take package 1 and could you pm me the price?
Is there any risk for the ultimate sound barrier? how effective it is after installing the foam and will the problem comes back after the installation?

Hi bro,

for Satria neo, its RM300 for the chassis foam.

for the sound proof, drop by and bring your superlon and see what we can do with it on your car too.
hopefully its enough. biggrin.gif but no worries, we have superlon also at my shop.

its time to share my pleasant experience wit bro kevin rclxms.gif
well, i'm a myvi owner, today i went to find kevin @ around 11am, i did "Door" & "Fender" treatment until 4pm+. whistling.gif
from cheras back to sg. buloh, i realise the 'roar' from the road has reduced so much! it's a peace of mind for long hours of drives, well it din reduce like 90%, i would say it's 60%, it's not product failure as my tyre is the famous-road-roarer Yokohama C drive due to its wet-handling characteristic. but no more roar from this 'tiger' =D laugh.gif
the sound of door closing (i keep open/close my door to hear the sound LOL) and external sound reduced so much until i nid to lower my pioneer type-r volume. (IMHO, i nid to tune up my woofer bass) cool.gif
My car is no more tin-milo, its much pleasant to drive, wat others said is true, kevin don't treat those voice with just 1kind of material, that should b the way!! keep up the good work bro!! thumbup.gif

Depend on budget and we have 6 different material so one door max can do up to 6 layer.

Can reduce outside noise. Improved from 40% to 60% outside noise. Or can upgrade to STP material from RM800 can reduce 60% to 70% noise, or use STP thicker 8mm material and reduce up to 90% outside noise (now promo at RM1000 only 4 doors with STP GOLD and STP SPL08).

The sound proof can last a lifetime. We provide lifetime limited warranty on all our sound proof installation .

Can reduce road/tyre noise by treating this 4 location.

1. wheel arch
2. floor panel
3. door sill
4. rear panel (hilux back panel ,behind the seat)
