Already done package 3 and totally happy with the outcome .

Even though the new myvi 1.5 has already come with some new soundproofing (which could be seen when kevin dismantled the fenders) there was a significant road noise from the tire's.

After doing and I tested on the roads I usually travel and the change was significant especially when loose stones/pebbels is thrown from the tire's to the fender.

All in all Thanks Kevin for the good work and explanation very happy with the oucome .
thanks and kind regards

Thanks bro for the support and review!
You should do the doors also (soon) if you add in better speakers and amplifier. biggrin.gif

Reason asking as I'm a bit skeptic when it comes to remove/install back panels and other components.
If you've done a civic fd before I might be more confident on your workmanship.

For my new car the kia sportage, there is no screws visible and all the parts fit very snugly. Cover to covers space is around 1mm as its a seamless join. I too was skeptical about workmanship. For my back area, Kevin took out the all the covers and back seat to treat the fender. After putting it back they look exactly like new, like there is no evidence of the covers being pried open. In total he took out 5 covers and back seat. So should not be any issue with workmanship. If you are worried i would suggest go on a day where there is not much customer and you can inspect the work your self. I did it for my 2 cars and it was superb watching them do it and did not even need to supervise them during the reinstalling back

For the price i paid it very much more professional that the other vendors i have been too

Oh, ya we are more worried about this too then the owner of the car~ biggrin.gif All cars we try to remove and reinstall back properly. I did civic fd on the pillar before , its quite easy to remove and reinstall. nothing special also, unlike Peugeot or KIA cars, then really have to be extra careful as their clip are very fragile compare to honda or toyota.

Sound barrier is a material for sound proofing use. It filter most of high pitch noise and mid noise.
Depend on area of application, price varies.
We always use it for doors, tyre and engine noise reduction.

Are you up for a challenge bro? biggrin.gif This is my current car ambient. I wonder by how much the average could be reduce.

Lowest reading is when the engine is idle, no traffic.
Average reading is on crusing (read tyre noise).
Highest reading is mostly due to car passes by, traffic noise.

Yes, I am always up for a challenge. biggrin.gif If you record with a phone, its quite hard to record some of the noise that is bearly audible by the microphone of the phone itself. But still, challenge accepted~ biggrin.gif how much noise can remove also depend how much budget you wanna put in. biggrin.gif Drop by my shop and i'll take your challenge tongue.gif but let me know before you come, might have some cars to do if u pop up suddenly. biggrin.gif

For 4 doors? Or rear boot? normally we would cover the most noise part first which is the boot. Then the fenders then the doors. biggrin.gif
