hei guys i am looking to buy a hyundai elantra 2001-2 model and the owner says the road tax and insurance is valid till next year
i heard that no matter the length of the insurance and road tax you have to cancel both of them and then buy new ones when you buy a car
can i get some info ?
thanks

Yes, both insurance & roadtax must be cancelled by the previous owner.

so whats the norm around here ?
does the buyer or seller has to pay for the insurance around here if its cancelled by the owner ?
