Anyone using Panasonic water filter?
I am considering either PJ-6RF or PJ-37MRF.
I believe PJ-37MRF has more features and cost over RM300.
Is it worth to go for it or just stick with the basic model PJ-6RF?

I'm using the basic PJ5. No complaints so far, but am thinking of upgrading to the Philips models. The PJ5 I've been using more than 3 years. Easy to maintain and does the job quite well.

Mind to share more about the Philips water filter that you intend to upgrade to?
Why don't you consider upgrading to their higher end model PJ-37MRF?

PJ-6RF/PJ-3RF performs as the most basic filtration system.

PJ-37MRF does better job than PJ-6RF/PJ-3RF and it produces cleaner water too.

so, PJ-37MRF price is considered reasonable.

Coway water filter is another brand you can consider. You can own it from RM50 per monthly.

Coway is No. 1 Water Filter In Korea. More than 1 out of 4 Koreans use Coway water filtration devices,
and 1 out of 10 uses Coway's air purifiers.

Please refer to http://www.cowayandhealth.com/coway-amazin...1-dont-miss-it/
for October Promo. Also stay tune with a new promo in November.

Cheers,
Amin

For PJ-37MRF, can I drink the water direct from tap or still needs to be boiled?

I'm using the cheapest rm138 Panasonic model also I never boil it and drink directly thumbup.gif
But to back my self off on this, I have an outdoor sand filter installed and the raw water quality are quite good(since it is supplying to palace also).
There's no right or wrong on this, you need to consider your raw water supply then only decide.

Thanks for sharing bro. My place is considered a new condo, no outdoor filter yet for the main water supply. But can there are significant improvement in taste and colour before and after installing the water filter.

As said, the raw water quality that matters. Like in Negeri Sembilan, water from Sungai Terip(upstream yet to develope) are way better than Sungai Linggi(supply to PD and pre treatment are black or brown)
