anybody here ever tried soundproofing their M3?chasis foaming perhaps?i planned to do so in the future, but unsure of it effectiveness and will it void my warranty?

just sent my M3 for 40k free service.the service dealer charge me rm50 for labour fees.they claimed once reach 40k free service, the labour fee are not free anymore.is it true guys?
btw mine is 2010 cbu, got alarm and that 'beep' sound when lock/unlock.

soncin automobile.kinda suck for an authorised service dealer.i need to pay extra rm150 if i want to upgrade to helix ultra.i think prima merdu in penang need top up only rm130++.i've contacted Bermaz, they agreed that i actually dont need to pay labour fee since im still under free service maintenance.screw those bloodsucker

anybody had changed their autotransmission oil?what type and brand of oil u used?
i'm about to hit 50k mileage and according to service book, 50k is the time to change the oil

i just change from my stock toyo to continental ContiMaxContact MC5 205-50-17.so far so good,i'm enjoying more comfortable ride with less road noise

really bro?maxcontact MC5 should be more to comfort type tyre.mine is 2.0 CBU, so it's stock tyre is Toyo Proxes R32 205/50 R17.so far im impress with the comfort and low road noise level since been using MC5

bought them rm390 per donut at semenyih.overall im satisfied with them.comfortable, low road noise and better handling compares to my previous stock tyre .but other user might have different opinion

bro, if u are able, try looks for them at ebay.com. plenty of sellers selling them. u can cut 3rd party cost too

can try order it from our automative garage sale.just install it yourself,very easy.can search vid from youtube regarding installation.as for me,i ordered one from ebay, got it at super cheap price.i dont really worry bout warranty as this is not an electronic part

interested to know bout this too.what i know our m3 all came with iridium sparkplug(high quality) except 1.6 version..

pressed lock button on ur remote key 3x consecutively.that would trigger the alarm on my CBU unit

reverse camera is darn cheap.i spent about rm50 to get it from ebay.then install it myself

bought my camera similar like this, specifically designed to replace our M3 license plate light.
replaced it with any of 2 M3 plate light.need to trim abit our car socket though.
my HU is flyaudio.had to get the original harness from dealer coz it didnt come with it.
once u got the harness,just plug and play
had to tap the correct power reverse cable.i tapped the cable that they used for reverse sensor.

it is much easier for sedan compares to hathcback.however time consuming a bit.

i guess Hoo's one is caska HU.different camera is a bit difficult i think, coz not specific for M3.
