Wallauwehhhhh!! 6 months passed by and its v3.0 oredi??!! have to do a lot of catching up with u guys..the last time i checked out this thread was aug last yr...

mine is CBU 2010 Black mika HB btw...not sure whether i've been registered or not by the admin..hehe..

well, if u guys remember right, i highlighted previously on how loud the power steering hydraulic pump motor is on the M3..my SC said feedback from the technical team is that the whizzing sound is normal since it is using Electro hydraulic power steering system instead of the normal EPS (thats why the steering feel is marvelous).and i quite agree with this..i've even tested the test drive unit and the same sound can be found when turning the steering..but the SC said a few owners have made the same complaints and if more and more owners are complaining, they might request mazda japan to investigate the system and maybe implement a recall or something..so if any of u felt the sound is too loud to your liking please dont hesitate to complaint yaa..its not much of a problem really but just in case the hydraulic motor pump failed,at least youve got it covered.. sweat.gif

other than that..the car is zuupper!!its a car with continental like ride/handling with japs reliability/frugality...worth every penny of your monthly intstallment. thumbup.gif

well... it depends how tight is the corner.. if it's meant for 40kmh.. like one at DUKE.. of course terbuang.. but if 90kmh limit corner shud be no prob i think..
that DUKE corner limit at 40kmh i drive at 110-120kmh so far still ok...but after using eibach prokit..  biggrin.gif

hey guys ,

today i just tested de m3 2.0 ckd sedan ~ but wonder why i pedalling, only RPM boosting not de meter ? RPM boost till 6000 but meter only 120-140 hardly to further , feels no power & weird. IS it test drive car has do tuning ..lol

Any brotha here can answer me why ? thanks

but found out cornering is damn stable, salesgirl pun no eye see when i sapu here n there ..XD

Added on April 26, 2012, 1:24 amAND 1 more question here, any BRO's here change leather seating ?

im keen on red colour leather ORI from mazda, but duno whether de colour fits in awesum anot =(

any advice??

Hmmm..the RPM thingy seems like symptom that the gear is in manual mode (maybe in D4)...if gear is not shifted to D5, RPM will rise and power will be limited..just to be confirm, test drive again la bro..

What ur saying was "adaptive headlamp"and I'm aware that our local m3 doesn't come with it.. I was referring to auto headlamp levelling. It levels your headlamp up or down. In other cars like lexus, whenever u go over bump or uphill, the headlamp will auto tilt down to avoid glaring to other drivers. It was written in the spec sheets that our m3 2.0 comes with auto headlamp leveling. But it seems to me headlamp never level before.

i think it auto levels initially when u turn on your headlights (probably when selected in AUTO)..just watch the light..and try driving up and down a hill somewhere at night and youll see how this thing works.

BTW, i had a brief test drive of the CX5 today..

+ points:-
1)quite a swift vehicle for an SUV..pickup is very good
2)interior is stylish with gps, reverse cam..MID is on the right side of the speedometer which is cool.
3)BOSE sound system

- points:-
1)the steering is too light for my liking..dont know whether it gets heavier when driven faster.

two versions available

2WD 160k+
4WD 170k+

I think the AUTO means auto on during low light, not auto levelling. I personally tried noticing going uphill or over high bumps.. Its doesn't move...

For the cx5. I think for that price we pay, the quality should be the same as Mazda6.. The cx5 still feel very plastic and lacks the luxury feel to it. That's my preference. Even the mazda3 soft dashboard feels better and more expensive than the cx5 soft dashboard.

yes..it is for auto on when low light doh.gif ..but refer to the owners manual page 5-91, it explains how this feature works or the indication light that will appear if its malfunctioned..however the auto levelling is hard to be noticed actually..try standing in front of the car and ask somebody to turn on the headlight..maybe u can see whether it functioned or not..

although the material is of less quality than our m3,i personally think that the overall CX5 dashboard design is a beauty..i like the shorter gear lever where m3's is a bit longer..luckily Bermaz didnt strip down the spec as compared to T or H..CKD some more.. vmad.gif
