if u wanna know about gearbox, brakes, bearings, engine,...no issues smile.gif

but i do have the occasional "clik clak" sound when go over speed bumbs too fast.

service wise, 1st year i went to MAzda in glenmarie...felt it was too exp...especially the shell full Syn engine oil they were providing. Plus i didnt have any free service, no such freebie when i bought my car 2 yrs ago, only gave me 3M tinting which i still hv to top up RM500 -,-

now i service outside...RM180-300 each time...i provide my own engine oil (elf full syn), so much cheaper that way.

i am still looking for the best service outlet, as i havent come across one who has good exp in M3 cars sad.gif

heres a stupid question...does the M3 CBU 2.0 have alarm?...cos i havent heard mine since i bought it =.= lock/unlock also no sound.
*
I too own the 2009 CBU and heck yeah, no free service for us...only got the Garmin (yeah one of the earliest batch of buyers). I doubt our 'silent' batch have alarms

You mentioned you changed your tyres after a year..was ur mileage like 30k that time? I am running at 40k now only and still havent change the original Toyos...but can see that the tyres are wearing out

I have the 'clik clak' sound too and the service center cant seem to find whats wrong with it... it is not the absorber..

is anyone still have problems on the 'watermark' effect on the MID/display panel? (What about CKDs?)

i didnt get garmin, but only had to topup RM500 for 3M tinting.

i admit i do drive quite aggressively at times, especially now with 2.0 litre car xD

as for watermark in display panel, no such issues for me so far.

try to look in the daytime under the bright sunlight...think some of the models have this 'watermark' issue in the display panel

I just replaced my 4 set of tyres on my MZ3 CBU 2.0 with Yokohama C drive 205/50/R17 yesterday but I felt it is too much of a comfort tyre for my liking. Dont get me wrong, this tyre has received various good reviews for its dry and wet grip + comfort, and value for the price. Got it for RM400 per piece. Makes your ride less noisy and bumpy than the OEM Toyos for sure. But call me masochistic or what, I like my ride to be firm, and still prefer the Toyos or some other tyres with stiffer sidewall.

So I am open to anyone who wants to buy this tyre/swap their original Toyo Proxes (or any other tyres like Michelin PS3, etc), pls PM me and we can talk. Price is negotiable depending on condition of your swapped tyres or if it is just plain sale. i know its hard for me to find others beside M3 owners for our tyre size category for sure.

hello guys, any of u changed your car battery yet?

mine has been 2 years, and recently, when i start my car, my cruise control will auto on. need to switch it off manually. happens once in a while.

noticed my reverse sensor also going a bit bonkers sometimes.

im wondering if its a battery issue,
and apparently we use a diff kind of battery that is more expensive. rm 400. not too sure if what the mechanic told me is true. just opinins from u guys.

also, if i change battery, do i need to reset some stuff? i heard we will need to reset the power windows, and radio. but what about other electronics components? will have effect?

my car is a mazda3 2.0

Anyone due to change tyres and interested to take my Yokohama C drive 2 tyres? Profile is 205/50/R17. I purchased a set of them brand new few months back, and have run in around 9000km now. Price negotiable.

Reason is i wanna change to a 215/45 or 225/45 tyres with stiffer sidewall. I think the Yokos are good value for money tyres, just that I prefer a stiff tyre (doesn't matter noisy or bad in wet for me). For those who wanna change their stock tyres to be more comfortable and less noisy, this is good.

Pls PM me
