M3 match with mondeo, not fiesta,
M3 4 speed is 1.6 right... If m3 1.6, i will go for fiesta sport.... More cool feature,

Mazda & ford divorced already ler.... I dont think ford has the tech access to skyactive same as mazda dont have access to ford ecoboost...
*
Bro,

Mazda 2, same segment as Fiesta
Mazda 3, same segment as Focus
Mazda 6, same segment as Mondeo

U think too far man, the future is always uncertain, we can't compare now with future. What happen is that i buy now i zoom zoom now, six meh later new facelift yes better zoom zoom but what about six mth after the facelift? there is always another model or car awaiting. So if u need a car just decide which is best n buy. if you don't need yet don't bother  to compare now with the future cause nothing is certain in future.

QUOTE(IminmyownworlD @ Jul 11 2012, 11:26 PM)
True. If wanna wait then wait. If not just buy. Simple as that.. Don't need to speculate so much. Even 1week before new camera launch also got ppl buy the previous model discount as much as 10k. As long as it meets their needs just buy la.

Judging from his hesitation, he might as well just wait cause no rush right? So just wait. smile.gif

Btw, I think the m3 before facelifted is better design. More aggressive and concept driven. Plus, the interior now became darker cause they changed the gearbox silver area to black. I dunno if Malaysia specs will be the same.
*
I too agree with the bros above.. If you really want to buy, just buy..
There's always going to be something new, better promotion, new model or what not..
If you wait now, then later got something else, then wait again..

The waiting will never end..

Buy now, upgrade later via 2 methods
i) resell & rebuy
ii) removed engine & install new skyactiv engine alone but costing

Wahhh... U think every1 so kaya meh?
I got "roti kaya" ny...

If can do that way, might as well get the CX5, take the engine & replace with M3?
Kekeke...

Dear bro M3White,

I believe most of us M3 owners appreciate your info here.
But honestly, I find it hard to understand what you are saying sometimes. wink.gif
However, from what I understand, I also agree & believe that the SkyActiv engine will not be launched so soon.

As you mentioned before, it's all about the "dollars & cents"
Bermaz is not going to spend a fortune replacing whatever stock they have with SkyActiv engines just for the sake of the consumers.

1st of all, they do not currently have the tech to mass produce it and it will cost a lot to upgrade their equipment to produce it
2ndly, I believe, like you, that they will want to clear off all existing stock before producing the new SkyActiv engine.

One way of doing that is by launching a new facelifted version to drive demand.

Hope this clarifies things to our other bretheren out there. smile.gif

Cheers!

I'm driving a Mazda 3 2.0 sedan
Mileage now almost 4000km

I pump about RM80-85 each time..
Drive till totally 0 before I pump
Rough mileage of about 400-420 km

I drive primarily to work(Jalan 222) and back home(Setia Alam)
Travel on NKVE abt 110-140km/h
Travel on Federal slow due to jam...

So far, BHP & Esso works the best for me.
I've also tried Caltex & Petronas, but doesn't give me as good mileage, about 380km for both
Will try Shell next..

Any of you know what is the widest tyre I can fit on the M3 w/out any problems with turning radius or being too low??
I'm planning to get a new 17"/18" rims and want to get wider tyres
