My personal experienc ( Saga BLM )
5w50
Engine is responsive and quiet, after 5k still quite great. but the oil gets darker 8k>. But its good that it can tolerate high heat!

Yes bro,

to know the different u must know what it means,

5w50 = 5 winter 50, the 5 means when it cold, 50 when it is hot. When oil is heated up, it will go thinner.

Normally 5w50 is what people from those place where they got different season through out the year like winter n summer, took for summer time.

but anyway it is not much different ! lol syn n non syn is the important matter.
