I loaned from Ambank also, yup, those autolife i just a crap, told me when call for loan confirmation.

Anyway, this autolife is RM3XX only, and it will end the loan payment once the borrower is dead.

What i regret is i din pay this autolife from the beginning, i let them add in to the loan, which count interest one... doh.gif

What i am unable to accept is, why the underhanded trick. After signing everything. Then they tell you, and in a way like forcing you. Anyway, i am not going to take this lightly, Ambank hq has replied to my complaint. Requested for the officer's name and branch so they will initiate an investigation. Serves the branch right if they have violated my rights.

Well I just received a reply from an officer in Ambank Hq, I guess when I email the complaint to them and cc to BNM complaint email, they "Boh Pian Act" have to work on it. They asked me to furnish the Ambank Branch in JB, the officers name and my particulars. Which I will do it asap.

Yes, only after signing everything, they demand me to buy the Autolife crap. If they had the professional courtesy and ethiquette, they should inform me way before i sign, then i would surely consider it. Because i know insurance is good, but not that i be forced to buy it.

My previous post.

Today received another email, this time from BNM prompting Ambank to investigate and revert to them(BNM) so i guess,If Ambank wishes to save itself from embarassment they might allow me to choose. I will (out of principle) opt out of buying that stupid autolife if possible and buy a personal insurance my self to cover the hire purchase.

For those u decided on the FLX whether to take CVT or Manual,

My opinion, is CVT is a complex transmission, depending on belting, special CVT oil etc. As you know, even AT is costly to rebuild, what about CVT which up till now usually reserved to high priced cars like Slyphy, Murano etc? Even last time Honda City brought it in, it failed.

So my advice take manual. I bought a FLX Manual Executive. Manual transmission still more reliable.

Need to ask sifus sifus here.
1.6 FL or 1.3 FLX cos i am a frequent highway traveller
1.3 FLX ok ka?
I alwiz want an auto transmission smile.gif
Thanks in advance for the feedback smile.gif
*
My humble opinion, you want FLX don't buy CVT.
You want AUTO buy either 1.3FL Auto or 1.6FL Auto.

Still can find FL Auto stocks. If you are in JB I can recommend you my SA.

If not FLX, take the manual, like me.

Hi guys,

I'll be getting my Saga FLX 1.3 Manual Elegant Brown very soon.

Any advice for me to reach 1000km within 3 months before the warranty period. Why? As I usually drive my motorbike to work everyday. (Save fuel cost/toll/parking). Even including going for some entertainment on Sat&Sun on my motorbike. Why? Same reason.

The only reason I can think of is going back to hometown but I'm afraid it might exceed 1000km and void the warranty.
*
I have a Saga FLX Manual Executive White. The 1000km is more important for the running in. Not just about the warranty, max advisable is up to 1500 km die die must service. Due to the harsh metal dusts and particles now suspended in the engine oil. As the engine is new, don' t push it over say 90km/h for prolonged periods and vary the speeds constantly. My Saga FLX going for first service next week. icon_rolleyes.gif

RON95- drive like hell.

U have to press more oil for RON95.

Don't you know Ron97 or Ron95, it is all the same? Proton cars recommend and built for Ron91 and above.

So both are usable. The rest is all placebo effects.

Lazy to prove it, if you got money to throw, I can't stop you. Developed Singapore still offer 92. No problem also. Just open your manual and check for yourself.

QUOTE(vccy @ Oct 31 2011, 09:35 AM)
bro it is not the same. did you know what is the term for RON? RON = Research Octane Number

RON 97= 97% octane and 3% lead

RON 95= 95% octane and 5% lead

the 2% make the different for the engine.

here is the source from wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating...urement_methods
*
Firstly there is no LEAD in our petrols.

Secondly, wikipedia is a good source of information if you analyze everything and not just see what you want to see. Check under the RON table, developed countries like Australia, UK and US sell regular at Ron92, Indonesia Super at Ron92.

So Malaysia Proton more developed that must used better than Ron92? Even Sg selling petrol at Ron92. No problems what?

QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 31 2011, 10:28 AM)
I cannot fully agree with you, except the point that our car can run on lower RON. It is possible for our car to run on lower RON AS LONG AS THE PETROL IS LEAD FREE, but running too low octane in the long run may cause serious damage to the engine & catalytic converter.

But I don't agree that using RON 97 gives you only placebo effect (maybe, but for lower CC cars). For cars with higher CC & compression ratio may see the difference in terms of horsepower & torque. If not, why would racing/petrol teams spend millions on developing high octane racing fuel for their race cars?

So in some ways, the usage of RON 97 may give only placebo effect for certain cars, but real improvement for others.
*
That is correct. Unless you are driving turbo or race track cars, even if you use Ron102 also no use.

You want pump Ron97 because you feel like it, you got more money for the regime to swindle with the Rm2.80 price tag per litre, go ahead. No one can stop you. But i feel sad, that you can't even pick up your manual and look for the info.

So whatever, you all so "sap pah sap pah" go ahead and pump whatever petrol you all like. Duh....

that is just pure marketing strategy. my friend using ron92 on his proton but no problem at all. proton just somehow wanna go with the ron95 gomen deal to push sales. mah 2 sens.
*
For ten over years, my cars all used Ron92 aka "Regular" petrol. No problem at all! You all want to pump Ron97 and let the bn regime slaughter you like pigs, go ahead.....

My cars included Proton Tiara, Honda Accord, Fiat 127, Nissan Ad Resort, Suzuki ERV, Citroen Zx. Until the stuupid regime forced everybody to use Ron95 above and spread rumours that all you gullible souls cars actually need Ron97.

Wanna be pigs to the slaughter house? Be bn regime's guest....

Now my Saga FLX only uses Ron95. Brand new car, no problem also?
