referring to Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Proton's Group Managing Director, all Proton cars will covered with lifetime warranty for power window... rclxm9.gif

btw, the lifetime mentioned is limited to 250,000km or 10 years from the date of the vehicle registration, whichever comes first... hmm.gif

hey sifus.. need to ask some advice.
1)the 5K services, if its over by couple of hundred KM is it ok?
2)i checked the water reservoir for the radiator (don't know whats its called) its at slightly above the "Low". If i want to top up a little, should i use coolant or water is fine?
*
1) doesn't matter... even extra 1k is still ok
2) just add water will do

if the oil pump is the main issue causing the jerk, then Proton should have recall all FLX user to change it immediately... i will send my car for 2nd service soon, and gonna make a booking to COE and ask them kao kao...

when I saw some ppl mentioned at another forum,
I googled to see any official announcement by Proton onot,
but didint manage to find out also, paultan there oso don't hv sweat.gif
I'm just wondering why gt similar rumours come out at d same time,
and if it is true what's the part going to be recalled..
Bro when u going for 2nd service? Ask them whether this rumour is true onot =.="

Bro the jerk u mean is our CVT jerk or the jerk that i encountered now?
if is the CVT jerk I think should be normal gua, I have get used with it dy laugh.gif
the jerk I encountered nw is a sudden jerk due to low RPM, macam no fuel liao gonna mati engine like tat,
it happened when my car is idling, nt sure why like this yet rclxub.gif
Any EXPERT here? biggrin.gif
*
the jerk i encounter now is slow speed around 10 to 20 km/h during traffic jam... and also, when i park my car, idling for few seconds, the engine suffering lack of fuel jerking...

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Oct 19 2011, 06:00 PM)
funny, I never encountered this issue. Only when morning during cold start if didn't warm up properly (rush to beat congestion) then it will be like "caughing" a few seconds then everything runs perfectly.
*
QUOTE(huzaifa136 @ Oct 19 2011, 06:11 PM)
yup.. same here.. also obvious in heavy rain yesterday.. while the "caughing" only happens after sudden engine brake (emergency brake or traffic light) or  simply rapid decceleration.. if normal decceleration it also happens but less obvious..
*
both you can try tomorrow. once you all reach the destination, park your car, putting transmission knob to P and just wait for few minutes, maybe < 10 mins... then u will feel it. normally i reach my office around 8am and listening to OneFM "Wan Tou Nei" programme tongue.gif and waiting in car with engine on... during the idle, with engine running, few minutes later u will feel that jerk i mean sweat.gif

your FC is 7.2/100KM is average or best ?
because if average than is very near to my alza manual ....

average is 7.0 to 7.3... (50% highway, 50% city)
if fully highway, 6.7 to 6.9 L/100KM
the worst FC i encounter is 7.5 to 7.9 L/100KM (speeding most of the time, 140 to 160kmph)

clutch pump??? hmm.gif
i think this pump related to the jerk we suffering during slow cruise which make a sudden release when we accelerate and caused the car to jerk... hmm.gif
bro Max_speedz, after you claim this, please test out whether the car with jerk during traffic jam or not... ohmy.gif

yeah, me too... seem like 3 persons reported the same issue... this is not normal, other user not encounter this, so we should report and complain to Proton bout this... surely something to do with the part vmad.gif

Added on October 27, 2011, 8:18 amthe weird thing is, when the jerk make the engine almost stop, the rpm is constant, not dropping... weird... hmm.gif

guys just drove my friend 2 weeks old saga flx cvt, I can felt noticeable choking when release pedal after accelerate....the car wont just glide when letting go pedal....it will slow down like manual car 1st gear pickup then suddenly release pedal that kind of feeling....is this normal??the cvt driving experience is totally not like cvt in sylphy....@@
*
QUOTE(brewoe_1988 @ Nov 4 2011, 05:40 PM)
why need engine braking while in slow speed??it make the driving experience not comfortable at all....not buttery smooth drive ....kinda weird engine braking while driving slow in traffic jam situation...any others cvt owner have the same problem@@
*
this guy is right, why engine break apply during slow speed especially traffic jam situation... proton should tune the cvt, not to apply engine break when slow speed... cvt shouldn't be jerk since cvt is meant to smooth drive... vmad.gif
proton should take action for cvt jerk issue. we don't want jerking drive since we will drive this car for many years mad.gif
