just tried my friend's BLM, pushed it to 150 easy...but then steering shaking like mad...zzz...actually anything over 130 also shaking already. think its going to be stupid to ask the proton service center to check, they will just say 'stick to speed limit'...but still under warranty tho...zzz.

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Oct 17 2011, 02:16 PM) I tried that before, about 150++. No shaking like mad. Sounds like your friend's alignment might be a bit out? Good for you. You should stand up for your rights. Just make sure you've double checked everything you did to make sure you are in the right. dun think alignment, feels pretty ok at 120-130 constant. maybe wait til another out station trip to try, that weekend came back to KL from penang...so just try tekan and see how it the car is. friend's car is 1.3 auto anyway, also the gearbox quite laggy, one time around 90kmh i tekan and rpm shoot up to 6+ and gearbox like taking its own sweet time to shift...guess the car not for heavy footers...have to slowly tekan

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Oct 18 2011, 12:07 AM) Hmm .. not sure why then. For me the worst part was the noise. Wind noise + engine noise + road/tire noise was horrendous. I got stuck on gravel before as well. I was really worried I'd end up like yours at the time. the tire noise i blame it on crappy malaysian roads from penang to KL, got some parts of the road where its so so quiet even at 100kmh+...then reach another part with different tarmac and so noisy.
