QUOTE(Anime-FAN @ Oct 30 2011, 06:06 AM) Hi guys, 1,000km or 3 months, 5,000km or 6 months, 10,000km or 9 months is the free service (labour only) interval. As long as your car is serviced by an authorized Proton service center personnel, your car will still have warranty period of 3 years or 50,000km; whichever comes first.I'll be getting my Saga FLX 1.3 Manual Elegant Brown very soon. Any advice for me to reach 1000km within 3 months before the warranty period. Why? As I usually drive my motorbike to work everyday. (Save fuel cost/toll/parking). Even including going for some entertainment on Sat&Sun on my motorbike. Why? Same reason. The only reason I can think of is going back to hometown but I'm afraid it might exceed 1000km and void the warranty. |

The 10w refers to winter viscosity rating, which doesn't affect us in Malaysia or other tropical countries.

full syn although technically could last 10k km, but the oil filter doesn't.
In the end, it will still be damaging towards the engine. Even if using full syn, recommended is to change every 7k/8k. No matter how good is the engine oil, it will still deteriorate when accumulate mileage. Added on October 30, 2011, 1:10 pm QUOTE(rajivshm @ Oct 30 2011, 01:06 PM) u buy it at tesco all the time? mind to send me the link to persona thread pls? i lost it... many useful info there. it is all on the first page of the persona thread. thanks for the advice bro. QUOTE(MR_alien @ Oct 30 2011, 01:11 PM) just change the filter every 5k...no problem if you want to change oil filter every 5k km, but wish to change engine oil at every 10k km, wouldn't it be better if you change oil at every 5k km? those good oil usually sold in 5L bottle....use 4L...change filter...add on It promotes better engine longevity since fresh oil is always better than used oil. |

QUOTE(rajivshm @ Oct 30 2011, 01:48 PM) FLX 1.6 vs LPLBFLX 1.3 vs LB then only it would be a fair comparison. and Area51SE, did the person who do the comparison test in your thread owns both FLX and Myvi LB? QUOTE(kudin @ Oct 30 2011, 01:57 PM) One thing in common I don't like about myvi and flx is sleeping in driver seat is uncomfortable compared to wira or persona you buy a car to sleep or to move from point A to point B? -.- |

you will notice sudden decrease in engine and throttle response due to the ECU is readjusting the air and fuel ratio to mix.
but even after the ECU has set the optimum set up for RON95, you wont have the same vroom vroom power when using RON97. So you will feel it is a bit underpower since you're used to the performance that RON97 offers and you have to leave with it. |

QUOTE(kudin @ Oct 30 2011, 04:31 PM) A little bit of both, I actually tried napping in the showroom before booking one oh, RNRwell, that because in the Persona, you're sitting low slug style, your legs are stretches a bit further, hence a more relaxed position to sleep. In the Saga, the seating position is straight up like sitting on an office chair. Everybody should know how crappy is sleeping on an office chair. lol |
