QUOTE(ch@ich@i @ Oct 24 2011, 05:40 PM)
im going to change my spark plugs to denso iridium , but im confused to choose which model of the spark plug is suitable to use in BLM.

i read many people were using IT20, but then the mechanics/foreman recommended using IK16 who mentioned IT20 is not suitable in BLM.

so kindly please advise which is the best for BLM. IT20 or IK16? thanks.

it's IT20....IT20 is for campro engine...satria neo also use it
by searching a while in google...IK16 is for toyota engine/perodua

use IT20 is fine...IK16 is hotter than stock heat range...nice pickup in the low rev but your engine will be hotter in the higher rev...not healthly for your engine, your engine will be prone to pre-ignition...dont post here later ur piston got hole..

on my car, i rather use IT22 icon_rolleyes.gif

whats the difference between IT20 and IT22?

Q : I have a problem with my Saga BLM which has clocked 67,000km. The rear camber has gone negative and makes the tyre bald on the side and makes a sound like a 4WD tyre during driving. I have changed the tyres inside to outside but the problem still persists. Correct me if I am wrong, the BLM system cannot be adjusted because it uses rear torsion beam axle. I am using 195/550/R15 tyre set-up

Azram Razali

A : If I am not mistaken, the correct tyre size for this model is either 175/70/R13 or 185/60/R14. However, you state that you are using 195/50/R15 tyres and are having type wear on the inside of the tyres. If you check the suspension set up specs for this model, you will find that there is a slight negative camber built into the axle and this is tied into the original sized tires to give balanced handling. When you changed to 195 section tyres, invariably there will be a part of the tyres that will be hardly or in very little contact with the road and especially if you are not driving the car hard, the tyres will wear unevenly. This will not happen with the standard narrow tyres as they will deform more during cornering and even out the wear. I do no think there is anything wrong with the axle and if you go back to standard sized tyres, your problem will go away.

I think it's not correct to associate Saga's jerk with CVT's "rubber band effect"...."rubber band effect" only refers to the feeling of stepping the pedal and revving but not feeling the immediate pull like traditional gears as it speed up slowly or uniformly. Jerking doesn't exist in other CVT's car.....including my friend's Slyphy and my Inspira...just to share. I think it's a SAGA specific problem.

IT22 is colder, if using hi compression piston or turbocharged u need this.

16/20 is the index for stock heat range..and NGK will be 5/6.

and starting up problem is solved because your new plug is clean. no carbon deposit.
