timing belt is major major service already
major service is changing gear oil, coolant, brake oil..etc oil

and usually those who DIY, they come home...drain it and leave it drain overnight until morning

Went to 3 different mechanics to get my balancing fixed.

First 2 said rims + tire condition not very nice, last shop say (front) wheels and tires no prob, ok. Saw the balancing on the last shop, all 0G (means OK). But when my speed reach 120+, start vibrating again. doh.gif

Rim cone also done liao. wtf.

Tools (not need branded ones) are affordable & 1 time purchase nia.

Normal items & most oil/fluid changes eg ATF/coolant/brake fluid, shld b no prob DIY-ing. When major service time, can DIY watever yu're capable of doing but send to wkshop for Timing Belt change.

ps. Me oledi had 1 practice run changing FL oil recently coz exceeded 3 mth service period...travel less these days... tongue.gif

Then do try chk suggested areas lo...wider/larger rims & tyres create different leverage & loading values thus thereby exposing weaknesses & affecting performance of those items. tongue.gif
