Anyone on lingch's rom, pls dont update your ICS launcher. i updated mine and its blardy force closing. without an alternative launcher on the ROM, the rom is practically dead. Cant even run settings to uninstall update. cant access any menu..only can receive call and text :S

Anyone using the razr headset with the phone? everytime i workout with this headset i feel like banging my phone on the blardy wall..

For some strange reason it automatically dials my recent calls. I think its something to do with the microphone..when i pant or take deep breaths the voice command thingy comes on, and sometime suddenly just randomly call people...good god its annoying as hell!

anyone know how to disable it? the only reason i use this headset over my seinheriser is cause its LOUD. when your in the gym you need loud bass to keep the pump!

hezda, you would need cwm in order to install the ROM. i think once u install the ROM, root will automatically be achieved.

what so hard about rooting? just download the thing and run it. lol

1. download the root from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341578
2. plug in your phone to your computer/laptop
3. Enable debugging on device. Settings -> Application -> Development -> Tick USB Debugging
4. double click the runme.bat file ( the file that you downloaded )

5. your rooted.

@wiseprince, get titanium backup pro. the full version automatically installs everything back for you, while the free version you have to manually select and install everything one by one .

when u root your phone nothing happens to your phone storage. you wont loose any data not application.

Its not really a con. Even if the phone hangs, you can hard reset it, so theres not really a problem there.

Hard reset = force shut down.

Pressing the power key and the volume down button offs the phone.

Bought the phone a month + back. Still no regrets after playing with my friends galaxy nexus.
And i honestly dont see any con with the phone.

wifi suddenly lost, microSIM got error, etc

I personally dont face any of this problem
