To fastboot using RSD lite, do we need to enter stock recovery and choose AP fastboot mode? Or we connect the phone to pc while it stays on and we choose PC mode for it?
Because RSD lite show the phone as XT910 there. Please help

For RSD Lite, you need to get into AP Fastboot, then connect your phone to the PC and run RSD

Added on July 5, 2012, 7:25 amJust want to ask anyone who downloaded the manual OTA, how did you join the 2 zip's together?

I tried to unrar it, and naturally it would ask for the second part if it was to be joint, but it does not :S

On ICS now,
Fully charged before sleep @ 12, but wake up 6:30am my battery at 5%....
Check my battery usage,
Motorola Services used > 50%
How to decrease above usage?

I'm using the second post, second step from this because I am from PSHAsiaRetail. This flash back system files that I been changing so all the check before flashing goes through.

Use EPRJ_FlashITRZR_Windows and put the system_signed (last file from the link on second post, second step) inside on where you unzip those and click FlashME. After that just reboot, enter recovery and flash smile.gif I just rooted it and done some testing, I found out free RAM is less than 400MB, I get over 500MB on Gingerbread.

Erm what did u do? i dont quite understand what najmods meant.

I downloaded that system signed file (android 2.3.6 stock) and used RSD lite to patch it. Then i went to stock recovery and tried to flash the update, but get the error status 7 as you did. Mind explaining what u actually did to fix it?

its start from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748944

i failed to upgrade using method in post 1 (link above)
2nd method is in post 2.
Najmods explain detail for the 2nd method.

my razr was PSHAsiaRetail.
basic concept: Flash then install new update from sd card.

So the step:
download file give in the link.
For Flashing - use 'EPRJ_FlashITRZR_Windows' (download link given byNajmods)
click FlashME.bat to start (but 'system_signed' file must included in the same folder)'system_signed' file is inside the 2nd download link in xda forum (2nd post, link above)
Flashing is done in fastboot menu.
however I donno 'boot_pshpasia.img' used for. i just put in my sdcard.
after flashing > reboot > upgrade using manual update in post 1 link above.
