ICS OFFICIALLY OUT!!!!!

root is basically getting super administrator access to your phone. Now your phone is like...a guest account or a normal access account in a windows desktop. Somethings required administrator privellage to change right? So root is getting u that administrator access

Download spareparts from market, uncheck compatibility mode and restart your phone.

yea its normal. pretty weird..some people face it while others done. unfortunately, i face it too. have to always unplug the charger to properly send a text without getting frustrated

Im not too sure about that, but so far im not affected with any other programs.

kholk has unlocked the bootloader, has he not? kexec..but only a core is working atm, and from what i read, its performing better then the stock.

Running digi, and have no problem with connectivity. Maybe your areas affected with maintenance? got a sms from em saying they upgrading blah blah at my area, so network might be slightly disturbedm

download skype or viber. If your on an ICS custom ROM, u cant. Any other ROM your good to go.

The power button for snapshot is an ICS feature, if im not mistaken.

Since your already rooted, why not you try custom ROMS? Im on a ROM called black widow, and i can get my phone running for up slightly more then a day, with moderate internet/surfing and heavy chatting. Its a pretty neat ROM, fast and simple.

And yes, we need to go back to stock ROM to receive official ICS update, unless you wanna fastboot it

Note also has got the official ICS.

are you on stock or custom rom?

holding the power button and volume key forces it to reboot. no need for waiting till battery to die or what not.

@wiseprince: what rom is stated there? I dont see any mention about a specific rom. lol

ANyway, im using dolphin HD browser, althought the ICS browser is pretty decent too.

Im using ICS, but not the leak. Dint wanna go on the safestrap and all that, with the battery indicator not accurate and such..im on black widow...one of the best ROMS i have tried so far, if not the best.
