The OCBC Al-Amin Islamic FD rate is fixed but instead of saying it is fixed, it says the profit rate will be based on an agreed profit sharing ratio during the time the Islamic FD was opened. HSBC Amanah has the exact same type of Islamic FD called HSBC Amanah AGIA-i and i can guarantee to you that the profit rate is fixed.
