QUOTE(Poadster @ Oct 14 2011, 04:23 PM)
You cant arm the alarm if the hood is open detected by the switch.... the buzzer in the car will go off... u need to close/lock the hood to arm the alarm...

Then, once armed, if the hood is opened, the horn alarm will go off... to test this, get someone to sit in the car and arm the alarm, wait for 30 seconds to pass (the buzzer inside the car will go silent) and then the person in the car can unlatch the hood.... finally u lift the hood and see what happen....  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

As some of us have changed the horn, u can hear the car scream for help from far away.....  brows.gif  brows.gif

ask kenny check his fren's lancer strut , may b my one already modified?

Added on October 16, 2011, 3:35 pmbut look at the welding ,IMO, really not worth to pay 400 for this, better get aftermarket parts, or top up a bit more get cusco.

ya, thats why i said, if i get a used one at rm150 still acceptable, if pays nearly rm400 for those? better go for aftermarket one, ways better than this.the reason of getting original parts,is because original parts always better in terms of quality, but when aftermarket parts are better, why pays premium for original parts. smile.gif
