Then u swap with her lor....

HD dont mean nuts in such a small screen... "HD" 800x480 is not HD at all, only 720lines are considered HD... and 800x480 size is mainly for those 7 and 8 inch double DIN HU... not for 5in screens... and all the software and maps are bigger in size due to the additional screen size...

How come Lokatoo site dont have any specs or mention of the A1000HD??
Most of the service vouchers are now computerized into the system, no vouchers anymore....
*
800x480 is actually HD...but for screen below 7inch....no point to make it at 720 when the screen are so small...480 is actually enuff...my 2 cents....

btw, which dealer offer the greatest discount now? plan to get 1. Thanks

read it urself smile.gif

"I no longer have brake lights, shift lock wont let me come out of park and cruise control is gone."

the problem are not with the led...that's because he short circuited the wiring....

as for auto cruise, if led give less load, then wat if both the bulb are burn with no load? wat if the bulb are weak with little load? so means burnt brake bulb will make the auto cruise fail to work?

The brake lights is connected to auto cruise via the ECU, the ECU switches off the auto cruise when the brake are pressed... so how does the ECU knows the brakes are pressed..?? By getting a return value from the bulbs in the brake lamps (the brake pedal dont have sensors, right??)

As LED uses diff watt than halogen bulb, the lit LED return value to the ECU is different and the ECU will NOT think / know that the brake pedals are pressed and thus NOT switching off the cruise control...

So, think, will this affect the cruise control???

The initial batch of LED adopters also have commented that there is an error (code) on the display, but I cant verify this....

ecu dun sense the return value..ecu sense the positive from the brake switch..smile.gif

if it sense the return value, then try take out all the brake bulb..see u can engage gear or not..

if you guys want to install vs in engine bay, a ABS case will be the best choice....aluminium does dissipate the heat faster, but it dissipate the heat from your engine to the cap...which is just pure marketing gimmick without thinking...ur cap will not hot than engine. aluminium dissipate heat from hot to cold places...

hope it helps..

btw, when the flashing come? i might get my in this month
