haha true also if to see it that way, cuz for me i hate the hassle as my pv6 famous for crap gbox and i had lots of frens have DSG/VW g box issues..
and its crap when people say MT difficult to drive in jam/city  i think this Mt system very comfy and how long u hold the gear or clutch right? since its like walking up the stairs left n right foot need to move tongue.gif
*
Yeah...actually, i dun understand why people say tired with manual gear....no problem at all.....but now my skill deteriorates a bit after driving Inspira CVT....go back to my manual Savvy, forgot press clutch when reverse gear.....sweat.gif...Also kelam kabut with the left/right wiper/signal lights...LOL.

the only 1 in Malaysia that is...was it?  rclxub.gif

What car are you tokking?? Inspira C segment lar...some people even says it can be categorized as lower D segment....but it's definitely one of the more spacious C-Segment car....compared say, to Altis...Altis very cramp....dun rike.

Guys I  was quoted by SC topup from syn 800(semi) to syn 1000(fully) need to add another rm105...oil filter still using Mitsubishi which original price is rm42...for my first 1k km. And he said oil filter change when 2nd service which is 10k km,is it correct?

Wana know is this fully syn 1000 is a good oil? Ok or not he said 5w-30 I think...compare to mobil 1 0w-40 ?
*
Synthium 1000 is 10w-50 lar....IMO, too thick....lose power and worst FC....better stick with 10w-40...

*
Same like P2 engine oil lar...OEM from Petronas also...basically the same stuff....but last time i read, P2 oil got add calcium like that supposely better for P2 cars....sounds like hogwash to me.....i think all the engine oil also have some level of calcium in it...not particular to P2 cars...nothing special about crappy old Daihatsu/Toyota engines anyway!

Serious bro? Mobil 1 0w-40 really good for our car? Getting for rm225/5l is that a good deal?
The SC allow me to topup with $$ but they only have syn 1000 for fully which is 15w-50,is that ok for my ride 2.0?
Hmm...so saying to waste the voucher so fast..lol now don't know whether want go for fully syn at the SC which is syn 1000(15w-50) or stick back to semi which is syn 800(10w-40) or go to other SC and use mobil 1 0w-40...any recommendation guys? Hmm...reaching 1000km soon now 9xx km d...
*
I will take Mobil 1 0-40w over Synthium 1000 15w-50....

Inspira R3 is out, same OTR price..OMG! should i cancel my booking with my SA now to get this 1?i have order 1.8MT white & pay downpayment, but hvnt get my car... icon_question.gif
*
The R3 looks kinda fugly....but if you like the bigger 18" rims for better road grip/handling (which will definitely be less comfortable than standard 16" with CC5), then go for this model. If you prefer comfort over KL/PJ bumpy roads, than standard stock is better.

*
Same here....somemore, now it's year end, usually can get better discount, because your car will depreciate 1 year value in 2 months time...tongue.gif....so those like buying early of the year also the same cause our cars don't depreciate value so fast...smile.gif

Btw, i just noticed the other day...my Windshield is original Mitsubishi with the logo...doh.gif...I never noticed that...only saw the side windows with Proton logos....i wonder the new batch still got Mitsubishi windshield??

Hydraulic - you still see that power steering fluid tank in the engine bay.

Btw, anyone manage to claim bulging tires from proton or continental?
*
Your tyres bulged??? I think someone in another thread claimed before. Can go to any Continental shops to claim for a small fee. Maybe call Proton to check first.

if got money for hybrid car are the most worth it now as no stupid duty tax its wat u pay as per price in jpn.
well honda/toyota did say they will lower the cost as when there are volume which i think alot of hybrids been sold lately
*
I dun sapport hybrid...too expensive really...almost 100k for the cheapest Insight...and you have to trade for:
1) Less power.
2) Fugly rear design
3) Small boot
4) Smaller car
5) EXPENSIVE batterys, IPUs and other electrical components...once rosak...bank will break....

The only advanatage is to save a little fuel, which won't offset the future high repair and maintenance cost.

If it's like 60k to 70k, then can consider......our Inspira at 90k is still the better buy...power, comfort, spacious. No fight. Only that it drinks more fuel...no big deal.

Deng....why u all can get pass 500km mileage ??? i try so hard also 400+km....my feet really so heavy or my car minum petrol???
*
Normal lar...short distance travel and city drive will drink fuel....mine is around 8km/l for 100% city drive. If highway drive can easily get 14km/l even if drive at 120km/h with occasional speedup to 140km/h-160km/h. For me full tank around RM90 usually gets 360km to 380km in city drive in my daily commute to work. You can click my fuelly for more accurate data.

just went to showroom to check out the car just now. quite satisfied with it. now i not sure wanna get the 1.8 manual version or 2.0 version. Is there a significant difference on the 200CC? any owner here can give some advise?
the main reason i purchase this is for JB-KL drive every month. not feeling comfortable driving Myvi on highway.
also the SA says if drive from JB to KL, it only uses RM45 petrol shocking.gif. she somemore say that RM45 is if she drive 150-160kph. if 110-120, should use less. if that true?? i kinna doubt on that.
*
I dunno how to count like this either. Assuming RM45=23.68l, 14km/l=331km. Yes, it's possible on highway drive.

our stock spring too soft, when full load, the rear 'drops' alot especially going through bumps. sometimes it gives the feeling that the absorbers kaput
*
Did u install the spring buffer introduced by XCInspire? I think it helps a lot in reducing the softness feeling and immediate improve cornering, cheap solution, but works!

I just test drive the 1.8l inspira at showroom, I find the car is not really responsive. I find my manual 1.3 myvi is more responsive. I seems like a bit hold back now. Not sure if the 2.0 version is better. I find that we need press a bit more in order the car to move.
*
doh.gif....have you drive any other bigger and heavier auto/cvt cars?? I drove a Myvi 1.3 manual for 4years plus...the 1.8 CVT pawns it anytime. With CVT gears, you don't feel the sudden pull unlike manual or traditional auto. This is the beauty of CVT. Just because it doesn't makes as much noise as a Myvi (Inspira has superior sound insulation), doesn't mean it's not responsive.

*
Latio Sports hatchback 1.6...sucks...drove it last time...floaty and bumpy like a Myvi.....Inspira pawns it easily.

guys... do u all hv this problem?

when i drive my camry, those car beside me, most of the time, will behave in proper manner.

but when u drive your "facelifted" inspira... u tends to get more cars wanted to 'race' or 'smoke' you...especially those myvi (i dont mean no respect)...., they will just love to cut in front of you... pelan chaio??!!
*
Myvi is always like that...Ah Beng thinks Myvi is a race car...just now only, kanasai Myvi overtake from the left on highway with a lorry in the third lane in front, just squeeze through the lorry and my car. My wife was just cruising along in the middle lane around 100 km/h.

But i enjoize chasing Dugongs...on Saturday, chased 2 Dugongs continuosly from the fast lane....one of the Dugong see me coming so panicked, try to squeeze back in to the middle lane with a bus in front and car behind.....i was quiet shocked coz didn't expect him to do such a dangerous move as the car in the middle lane was quiet close to the bus....i would have give him time to go back to the middle lane, but he got panicked seeing me coming in at 160km/h or so....not my fault...LOL.
