This new firmware KL3 is a piece of @#@(!((@....( use ur imagination).

1. Cant root. The exploit with doomlord been covered.Even use doomlord v4, cannot

2. Battery life isnt that great, maybe slightly better than DZKJ2 stock and sure loose to superkernel 1.1. Since cannot root, cannot install setcpu too.

3.I flashed custom kernel superkernel 1.1 - have yellow triangle and binary counter go up

4.If use USB jig , no impact, yellow triangle and binary count still there , in my case , binary counter=1.

5. If u used USB jig and then restarted phone, all the homescreen icons go missing and cannot access applications. Need to get into recovery and clear all caches and reboot phone.

6.Since cannot remove yellow triangle and custom binary count, but already got root from superkernel 1.1, I install K-Tool and dump Zimage from superkernel 1.1 to sd card. Then I used ODIN to flash stock kernel from DZKI1  ( page 1).

7.Yellow triangle disappear but custom binary count remain =1.

8. Then used K tool to reflash superkernel 1.1 Zimage from SD card to enjoy the powersaving benefit of superkernel 1.1

9.Binary count still =1, if use USB jig again, number # 5 above happens.

10.So downgrade to DZKJ2, put in the pit file and stock DZKJ2 firmware from page 1 and flash using ODIN.

11.Success but still custom binary count =1.

12. Use USB jig, custom binary count =zero, erased and back to fully stock DZKJ2 but had to do a data wipe/factory reset first since all icons missing from home screen as per # 5( i donno why still happen after downgrade)

So now going to root with DoomLord and get back to normalcy. I am not going to bother with KL3 unless someone finds a way to root without yellow triangle and custom binary go up. Not much other change except the dialer icon looked a bit different.

3 months with I9100g  is way too long with all these stuff. If i get the offer tomorrow, it might be the last day of my S2, maybe , maybe not. We'll see. We'll see.Even ICS, if its rootable , then its worth it in my opinion. Really without rooting a lot of battery saving stuff is lost. I cant understand  the rationale of buying a slim phone but piss poor battery and need to carry charger or spare battery or extended bulky battery.

I did follow the steps, including turning on USB debugging, unknown sources, removing the second @adb thingy and add @pause. Tried few times already but still won't work!!
