i messed up the phone quite a bit and i think it went into soft brick? (the phone - yellow triangle - PC) icon.

but i just went ahead to flash the stock samsung ROM with ODIN.(I9100GDZKL3_I9100GDZKL3_I9100GOLCKL3_HOME.tar.md5)

it went through successfully.
then i plug my phone to KIES, and let it auto update to ICS.
now it is on:
4.0.3i
DXLP6
kernel version : 3.0.8 dpi@DELL 150 #2 SMP PREEMPT

somehow i think this ICS is not much better than my previous GB. the browser looks faster though, but i am a dolphin supporter

now my quick question is how can i get it root? follow the PDF guide?
coz i have bunch of backup in titanum which i need to restore.

by default this CM9 is using nova launcher is it? i am on 0611 build as well.

oh.. yaya.. current trebuchet pretty sleek also i was using go launcher for 3-4 months when i am on 2.3.6. i think its pretty cool and quite lots of theme.
what is your say on other launcher like nova, tw, launcher pro.. ?

by the way, i have a very important thing that i need to restore, which is my backup i did with titanum in 2.3.6
now, i installed back titanum in CM9, but when i restore, i got nothing! my heart drop for a while ..... any idea?

have you guys also do the V6 supercharge thingy? it really helps making the flow much more smooth

but i am only half way done, 50% and i noticed there was a message saying the ICS launcher (in this case the trubuchet launcher is weak) as it has lower priority then the app or something...

k, anyway... any hint for me to get back my contact which i backedUp with titanum during in 2.3.6?

cm9 is custom ROM, your device needs to be rooted in order to flash CM9. correct me if i am wrong.
