I finally successfully rooted!! but how come i don't see any difference? the superuser apps is manually installed by me (cos previously failed and someone suggested to manually installed to try)..

when i open the superuser app, it's blank... so is my phone rooted or not?

i even tried to root twice.. twice successful, phone also restarted...

oh ya, i noticed this.. df: /mnt/.lfs: Function not implemented... something/somewhere goes wrong?

After successfully rooted with doomlord.. I found that the battery drain REALLY fast!!. I dono is it becos of the root, or is the go launchers apps that i downloaded.

this morning 8am charged 100%, now at 10am (didn't even use the phone, only on bluetooth when driving to work), the battery now left 50%!! no data, no gps, nothing!!

anybody facing this problem?

hi creezalird,

I downloaded your pdf and now thinking to flash it with Superatmos.

one question, I rooted with doomLord previously and my phone is KJ2. In the XDA forum for Superatmos, there are two download link,

v2.2: BASED ON JPKK1
v2.1: BASED ON DZKL3

Can I use v2.1, which is based on DZKL3 is it compatible with my phone which is in DZKJ2?

when flashing firmware, there is not such thing as u must use same firmware as u are running right now.

because flashing custom firmware is just like flashing new or update firmware.

does not matter which version.

so yes, u can use any version of custom rom, besides it is recommended to do full wipe anyway, so any bugs from old firmware will not be there.

ok, noted. will try to flash tonite and hopefully everything goes well!

Managed to flashed with superatmos v2.1 and galaxyROM 4....

what about the galaxyROM Fix? is it instead of choosing install from sd, we choose update from sd to update the fix ??

Try Battery Calibration by Nema app. All you have to do is wait till 100% at 4190mV above then tap that huge batt calibration button, reboot. Other than that you gotta be realistic that half the time 100% aren't really 100% depending on circumstances. Fully discharged charging and whatnot you know.

Ya, I did try this... but not much use though...

actually i think better not use the app. instead you can try 2 methods.

1. charge to 100%, remove charger, wait for 30secs+, plug charger back in. you should see it goes below 100%,charge till 100% again.
continue doing this until when you remove charger and plug it back in, it remains @ 100%.

method 2.

switch phone off charge till 100%, remove charger, 30 secs plug in again, charge till 100%, repeat this process untill batt remains at 100% when charger removed and plugged back in. then remove battery from phone, for 90 secs. put battery back in

hmm.. i shall try this method then... thanks...

Agree! I also bought Antutu CPU Master Pro, it is much better, even though I am big supporter for SetCPU and already bought it long time ago, but it seems it no longer any significant changing even the latest version only change for interface.  Antutu CPU Master Pro is much better with I/O Scheduler support + all SetCPU function and it remember my setting. wink.gif

I've just installed the CPU Master.. how to set? min and max should set to what? what about scaling?

I am not so good with this, I follow creezalird suggestion, set min 300 Mhz, max 1200 Mhz, scaling - hotplug, I/O Scheduler - noop. (I notice after a while, noop make my Data not working, deadline also same,. I back to default cfq now).

Scaling - hotplug is perfectly run well in performance & battery life.

oh? my scaling dun have hotplug option.. only have interactive, conservative, ondemand, userspace, powersave, performance, smartass...
