can we ever hope that someday we can get custom roms ?
i mean are developers aware or the I9100G variant ? is it that hard to make existing roms compatible with the I9100G ?

sorry it's just that having A Galaxy S2 and being stuck with the official roms is really frustrating sad.gif

Juffo's custom ROM v2.1, the only changes is the multi languages.

change log:
2.1:
support menus multi languages
support keyboard multi languages

Not worth updating.

i haven't installed any of the previous versions, and i do need the multilanguages support since i need french menus tongue.gif

is there an overcloackable kernel for i9100g out there ?

i tried MyGKernel, i used setcpu to raise the max to 1200 instead of 1008 but i haven't felt any difference and in some benchmarks it's still noted 1008!

one more thing, it's about Hellcat kernel, i read that it supports I9100G now, has anyone tried it ? if yes can you give me the right links ? cuz i haven't found any for KJ2! also is it much better than MyGKernel ?

does anyone know if making a custom rom orginally made for I9100 work on I9100G is hard and takes a lot of time or is it easy if you copy some files from stock rom or juffo's rom or something similar ?

i have 0% experience so i'm just asking, since it appears that nobody pays attention to the I9100G at all, so maybe we have to find some other ways by ourselves lol

if there's any developer reading this or if you know a rom developer would you tell him to give it a shot ? the I9100G is not much weaker than the I9100 maybe just 10% slower, so it's really a shame not to enjoy modding it when much much slower and weaker android phones have dozens of roms and kernels!

superatom kernel v1.1 work well on your phone? my one that day suddenly battery drain alot...flashed back to myGKernel v1.1.1

this happened to me as well, a full charge lasts less than a day even with wifi off and all bloatware frozen, i had to go back to the version 1.1, i don't know if the culprit is the kernel or some strange app!

Look at post #817, page 41 if u interested in battery life.
I got good battery life even with stock rom+doomlord root using that stuff.

thx but i already did that, the fact is that the battery consumption per hour was abnormally high, i don't know why, in less than 8 hours my battery was completely drained after a full charge!!!

i was using supermatos kernel v1.2 with smartass governor btw!

that's the mysterious part, i did check BBS and all was normal, almost no wakelocks, no wifi, no extra apps draining battery, just the regular apps : display, android system and the sleep ones!
