actually how many of you out there, successed in rooting i9100G 2.3.6 using the doomlord script method?
*
me i succeeded rooting my phone using the doomloard script... i used the V3 and edited the runme.bat file first as per first post. Run it, everything was smooth.... i did have to press enter twice tho... i dont have any screen shots...

First i had problems connecting my phone to laptop.... tried all sorts of things including driver installation and kies update ( install and uninstall and then reinstall )...... Came to a solution where u have to put in a code in ur fone which fixes ur USB connection.... waaaallaaa i was happy and i could do my back up...

Before i started doing the rooting process, i made sure that all KIeS processes all stopped like mentioned in this forum. Ran the runme.bat file, success... smile.gif now im still waiting to flash a custom rom as i need to research a bit more smile.gif

hi, superatmos kernel v2.0 + superrom 2.0 = 1% 8hr in IDLE time?? are you super serious dude?? must try then... wat's the best recommendation to go about this. I rooted my phone months ago but never put any kernel or any rom on to it. Better to factory reset first and put kernel then rom or just go on with it?? smile.gifsmile.gif... me want longer battery life......

Hello guys,

Why I can't get the DZKL3 download, ive tried kies and update option in android. Any idea?
*
hello, is Kies detecting ur phone when you connect ur phone through USB? i just updated mine yesterday. First round it failed, it downloaded the firmware but when it wanted to transfer it to the phone, it failed so i tried again and it worked. I have now successfully used DZKL3 for almost 24hrs and i gotta say the battery consumption on this kernel is pretty awesome compared to the old one. I need to monitor for a couple of days and see what is the best...

@MEAKU 15, it is said by Samsung that Galaxy S II will get ICS around march to april. I also uploaded some screenshots here.

@KENTK3, it is ported for I9100G original ROM. It will work nicely with any stock ROM IMO.

It looks great!!! ....thanks for uploading!!!

Another noob question: Can flash custom ROM (SuperROM) from internal storage instead of external sd card?
*
i think can, cause in cwm u are able to reach that directory but im not too sure abt this. Best practice is to have the rom on the internal memory i think....

i have a noob question.

Isit flashing cm10/cm9 considered rooted? as i can see superuser in my phone.
*
hey there, before u can flash any custom rom, u gotta be rooted, root is a different method, from virgin to non virgin smile.gif after rooting, then only u can start flashing customer roms ( Cm9 or CM 10 ) smile.gif hope that answers u question
