i have another question though... lol

i want to remove unwanted default softwares but i wanna back up before i do it. I am currently not planning to use any custom ROMs. Do i need to do the 'add CVM support' step before i backup creelizard? of i could just backup normally using samsung kies?

YET AGAIN YOURHELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

as u are still kind of noob here, i would suggest u go for flashing rooted kernel with ktool to get CWM recovery access and afterward do full backup from CWM. Recommended kernel : streetware 0.4.3 or superatmos 3.3, my pdf guide is a bit outdated with the kernel/rom list.

to remove stock apps after backup, u can use titanium backup pro.

even though prometheus 1.3.7 is very good enough with some minor bugs like semitransparent buttons, fuss is working on 1.3.9 with bugfixes, i will wait first.

Let's say that if I follow the instruction 100% correctly, my phone will not be bricked, 100%.
Is this statement 101% correct?

My hands are itchy already. Feels like wanna flash streetware kernel when I still have 7 months of warranty...

My phone is last batch of Digi, hence the firmware is DZKL3, What I did
1)download DZKL2, flash it with Odin.
2)then use Doomlord easy root method, just make your ram more than 500-600mb, easier for zerg to crash it.

then kernel same like how you flash it with odin, uses ktool to remove yellow triangle.
uses superatmos kernel now to see whether camera still fails. Already 1 week so far so good.

Rooting for ICS (i9100G), of course update to ICS using odin first.

Method 3 : 1 + 2, no yellowtriangle or binary count increasement

1. Do method 2 first.
2. Download LP7 codeworkx, extract and put the zimage inside root sdcard
3. Install ktool, flash the zimage.
4. Result : rooted + CWM , no usb jig involved, ^___^
