Im currently on superatmost v1.2 + superRom 2.0

Very tempting to use the ICS theme by Vertumus, but not sure the requirements mention. Need your advise on "u need rom without any themes or mods install" <-- does this means stock rom?

Do u guys knew what u bought was the G version or it was after the fact? Do you feel cheated? Afaik there's no G version in europe or usa. Does that mean samsung thought that people here is stupid and will buy anyway bcoz of the popularity?
*
I bought the G version before knowing it, and it is because the shop seller didnt tell anything about it (i also didnt ask) because i was soooo into the white SG2. Perhaps i cannot feel cheated, because i didnt do my homework first to check in detail the G and non-G version comparison (im an iphone owner previously). I believe it is a strategy (maybe cost cutting) to change the processor? This could be why they changed the entire new batch of SG2 to the Gversion. Could it be for the ICS upgrades in the future? I dont know. Perhaps, every change that management decide must lead to something beneficial for the company, *ignoring your point of popularity* , it is because SG2 specs are way better than iphone 4 (at the point of launching date). At this fiscal, now try to compare the GNex/Note with 4s?

Morale of the story, read more and do your homework before purchasing an expensive device.

Just my 1cent. Cheers rclxm9.gif

It is more of a problem solving issues i believe...the non-G CPU runs too hot and sucks too much power. Thus the 'G' version is created to overcome this issue. Samsung must have weighted the options ...a little bit of performance loss vs solving some major issue...in real world performance, the G and non-G performance are negligible. But at the same time the G also introduced some problems...etc, not fully compatible with all the specified SGS2 apps (there's a few), camera hang issue. Hopefully, this will be fixed in the new ICS firmware.
*
I have to agree with that thumbup.gif . I do faced camera hang issue with my Gversion but if you hard reset your phone, problem doesnt occur anymore. Hope Samsung will comeout with better bug fix in the future and also cant waint for the ICS firmware. cool2.gif

pls feedback if good, I am using MyG ...
*
May i know what do you want to know the "good" part of SuperRom 1.0?

Since im using the same superKernal 2.0 + SuperRom 1.0 settings, i put my set CPU at 300Mhz min during my sleep mode, but max 1200mHz when phone is in use. Overall im satisfied with the batt consumption, yet im not sure how can u define "good" from your statement. Is it batt lvl? performance?

Please advise clearly so that we can exchange knowledge of both MyG and also SuperRom by superatmos.

Hello forumers,

Im not sure if this question has been asked before, here goes...

My current situation now is im using a custom rom and kernal by Superatmos XDA.

Thus, may i know.. lets say I want to update to DZKL3 and root. How should i go about it? Do it just simply use Odin and flash the kernal? or Do i need to unroot back again and re-root the new rom and kernal? Im confused. Hope that forumers here can advise how to do it the correct way.

Thank you

as u are using custom rom, it is advised to start from zero again.

which means, flash latest stock rom with odin.

after that flash rooted kernel. this is the only method to root so far for KL3 as doomlord method is not working anymore for this version

thanks for the advise. perhaps will these process set your phone back to factory settings (means, all apps/emails/calender events/contacts) will be removed? Can i restore back using Titanium Backup?
