My battery life not that good with Superatmos kernel v1.1+ICS theme. I use the modded TW 4.5 Launcher. Standby drain around 1.2-1.5% per hour. Anyone having same situation?

I think you can install the original ROM or find the CWM .zip files that contain the apps.

I think you can try to clear the browser cache but you should wait for the opinions of the sifus here.

Now this is my battery usage graph of my phone with Superatmos v1.1 and Stock ROM. I just think that the battery consumption is a little high especially when idle.

The first big drop is when i am surfing on WiFi while listening to music. I used approx 30% of the battery in 85 minutes. That means according to my calculation, my battery will be shot in just less than 5 hours of browsing, which is abit low. Then the slow drop of around 15% is when the phone is in idle, WiFi and 3G off (when I am sleeping). That lasts for around 13 hours, which is about 1.2% per hour. The final drop is when I played Real Racing 2. I expected the battery will get drained quickly and it did, losing 45% in just 1 and a half hours. I will do some test with the stock ROM and kernel if I am free. Anyone can share their battery life and activity?

@ambar_hitman, are you referring to my screenshot instead of Fauzi? In that case could it be widgets that is causing those activity?

I dotn think so, but it could be the Facebook widget or the email app. Did another battery test with my setup, around 18% for 1 hour of playing a h.264 video.

*EDIT: I did a music test as well. The results are 12% for 1 hour. I will make a summary next time.

If it is stuck at setup connection, then it means that the phone is not communicating to your computer. This is a bug or glitch of the phone. The phone sometimes stop communicating to the computer after you leave it in download (Odin) mode for too long. You should try to start the flashing process right after plugging into the USB port.

By the way, anyone facing problems of the browser crashing when loading webpage with flash.

You flash back the kernel provided in the 1st post. It is the DZKJ2 unrooted kernel with ROM actually but you need to reflash the ROM. This bit can be better explained by the pros.

You should update using kies for the DZKJ2 firmware then root using your desired method. About the battery life, it heavily depends on your usage. If you browse the internet continuously, your battery would not last more than 6-7 hours. Around 10 hours if you are playing songs. If it drains like that even when idling then it could be a hardware problem.

That should work. Actually any unrooted kernel should work.

Still no Cyanogenmod for the I9100G. I heard that there is no developers willing to port Cyanogenmod to the I9100G but I saw they post about planning to make CM9 compatible to OMAP4 phones so there is still hope.

Isn't the "camera fail" bug removed when you reboot the phone?

@eddie2020, yeah i am talking about the home and back keys.

@zeese, you need to root it again since it contains a new kernel.

Another bug to report here, anyone tried playing embeded videos with the browser? Sometimes it crashes the browser when I play them. Is this a problem of Adobe Flash? I am using the Flash Player that is installed from the factory. It still happens if the latest version is installed.
