QUOTE(mhyug @ Dec 3 2011, 02:59 AM) full fixtures. azzurri may be the founding fathers of catenaccio but try looking at the 06' sides or zoffs side and latest cesare's sides. moved away from what youve said long ago mate.this would be a match to relish. QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Dec 3 2011, 08:36 AM) aiyo...this is not Italy of pre world war era lah.. If u know Prandelli(current coach)..u must be familiar with Fiorentina style of play(beating Liverpool twice to be honest,i didn't follow the italian team after the world cup.my assessment was based on the world cup team.pardon me for my early assessment. in UCL and nearly march to quarter finals) Italy vs Spain earlier this year |

phew, even though it's a very boring match but the final minutes was very intense. who would have thought that the side that won 4-1 in their first match will pack home early while the side that lost 1-4 went on as group leader.

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Jun 18 2012, 04:09 AM) No wonder he's so knowledgeable. He's Viv Anderson, former professional who played at top level. yup. total football need ball playing CB but the CBs that the Dutch team have now are all robust type of CB. it's useless. well, even with my FM knowledge, i can't name any Dutch CB other than those in the team.Added on June 18, 2012, 4:17 amThat's why you need at least one ball playing CB to build attack from the back. Dutch can't even get from their own half, because their CBs are not technically good with the ball. Always have to resort to Sketelenburg to hoof it upfront. But can't really blame the coach. Dutch league haven't produced a top class ball playing CB in ages since the day Philip Cocu and De Boer brothers retired. |
