My T1 is going through 2 iterations. A better way to say it went back to ACS the manufacturer twice... sad.gif Once due to mis-fitting, another due to RMA (right-side no sound) and slight mis-fitting as well.. Its okay though, i get to play around with the colors with no charge! and it'll be coming back with black cables this time... I really hope that the third time is the charm.. unsure.gif

i dealt directly with Futuresonics, great service. placed order over email, shipped my impressions to them with my order form and then waited impatiently for the customs to come. price-wise i had a special offer from FS, and i'm not sure if its still available now.

if you like the signature of the tf10, can consider reshelling. friends have confirm that the signature doesn't change much. but it is not advisable to reshell se530 as 4 different owners including me has confirmed that the thick signature se530 mids will be gone. not much change for se535 though.

nah i won't be selling my mg6pro, love them. other than the mg6pro's size, there's absolutely nothing to complain. i just wish/hope to try the ES5 and if i'm lucky, i'll find it not to my taste and then i can die happy with the mg6pro. i'll probably just buy a second hand se530 then.

anyway if you buy my mg6pro, i don't know who can/is willing to reshell it for you.

I don't know if there is another mg6pro user here in MY. i know there are some mg6pro users in SG. with the release of the UM Merlins, there are more people now using dynamic (hybrids actually) customs. other than futuresonics, i only know of 2 other chinese custom makers (thousand sound and beat audio) who do full dynamic customs.

I think future sonics do provide reshelling services.. for second hand customers as well.. as far as i know, all companies do provide this service.. but with a price la..

haha be contented with your mg6pro! it should be very good... the mids not as good as se530? really?

i know for a fact that westone and JH doesn't do reshelling for if you purchased a second hand custom of theirs. there's ways to get around it but its harder and troublesome especially if you are buying the customs from overseas. not too sure how FS handles it.

mids wise, the se530 to me has got a very magical and thick mids. warm lush and thick, exactly how i like it.
mg6pro mids is thinner and not as warm compared to the se530, but still lush and smooth. customs like acs T1 and mg6pro are technically much better than the se530, but if i am just listening only to the mids and nothing else, se530 is still king.

ahh... well have to ask them personally when i have the moolahs to get another customs lol... my experience with dynamic (IE8) wasn't really good.. so will have to think hard about if it comes...

My T1 has pretty good mids i must say... but the bass / mid bassdo get in the way sometimes.. quite annoying to me lol

upgrade upgrade!

IMO the IE8s ain't very good dynamic drivers. the Atrios, RE262 and even Dunu's Tridents sound much better.

In my very humble opinion, the T1 is even thicker and lusher than the SE530. It makes my ESW9 sound thin and my RE0 just unbearable..

Most ppl are turned off from the T1 due to this and the hard hitting bass. =D
