I went to Digi to check out the XE, and they said the price is phone price + advance payment which is 1499 + advanced 568 (24 months) = 2067 and they will give rebate every month for 24 months..
I didnt know contract need to pay advance payment? Is this a new thing or has this been around for a long time? |

Anyone got any idea on this?Is this normal to pay so many months advanced? I heard maxis only 1-2 months advance payment, is DIGI really that much more extra? |

QUOTE(whitegoh @ Nov 28 2011, 01:21 PM) QUOTE(RitchieV @ Nov 28 2011, 04:44 PM) I got my sensation from maxis......no need advance payment at all.....for XE i am not sure......for Sensation no need Thanks for the confirmation guys!!So far maxis is really great......first few months....damn annoying....simply cut off my line for no reason...... The customer service consultants are really great.....helpful and friendly..... The bills.....if you control....won't be a problem one......seriously..... Trust me....those that get RM1k+ bills......they need to blame themselves....lols Btw as i know, U-mobile and Celcom also need advance payment...cause i did a survey on all the telco before buying my sensation OH WAIT....MAXIS NEED ADVANCE PAYMENT 1 MONTH....sorry....i almost forgot.....but that 1 month advance is for your bill......so you don't have to pay your bill for one month.... And actually its for my friend, who is very reluctant to change from digi cause her friends are digi haha.. I am using maxis already According to them 12months is ~380 advance and 24months is ~568, and will rebate every month, ill relay the sad news to her.. |

Hey guys..need some confirmation here, glad if any of you can help me out
According to this link : http://shop.digi.com.my/Store/postpaid_sel...b5a69&tenure=24 At the bottom, it says for 48X24 plan only needs rm298 advanced and only 68X24 needs rm568 advanced.. But when i went to a digi store the guy said its rm568 advanced for 24m plan and rm368 for 12m plan regardless of 48 or 68! Is ordering online cheaper than buying cash and carry at a store? Or was the guy at the store giving me wrong information? (He did look like kinda malas to layan) Need some info on this ASAP, thanks!! This post has been edited by Zmir: Dec 1 2011, 10:47 PM |

QUOTE(AzeL @ Dec 2 2011, 09:47 AM) Go to another store and ask again, otherwise go back the same store, ask, and demand why is there a discrepancy between the website, and what he said..make that lazy Mofo work and think. If he insists, ask to see someone higher and demand an explanation. alright thanks for the explanation! yeah the shop I asked the guy looked a little bit lazy hahaha.. I will ask them again and will show them the website if they sill say its 568 not 298.. good to know u got the phone with the price exactly as advertised! again thanks alot.I got my Sensation from Digi as well, and for my case the price is exactly as it is advertised on the website with all the charges and down payment etc...no reason for it to be different unless otherwise stated in the website. QUOTE(maxgenesis @ Dec 2 2011, 11:43 AM) true la... y u ask so funny question... no matter wut telco, they sure need u to put advance payment which will be deduct monthly in ur bill.... the question I ask is not why got advance payment, I asked why online they state rm298 advanced but at the shop they said 568 advanced. I know I will get it all back in rebates but paying upfront extra 300 quite pain haha |

QUOTE(teh_master @ Dec 5 2011, 07:46 PM) tested mine, it is working mate. btw azel, he is referring to lockscreen style. You might not be aware but i had a conversation here about the price of the phoneAdded on December 5, 2011, 7:48 pm i believe 2k++ is inclusive of the advance payment required for both 12 months and 24 months contract. the shop told me it was 1499 + 568 = 2k+ for the phone, but when i checked online and contacted digi its actually confirmed 1449 + 298 = 1797 for the phone But the problem is alot of place is out of stock now, would love to know any digi store to purchase the phone cash& carry |

hey guys, regarding Ice Cream Sandwich..
I know the XE is going to get it, but will the malaysian XE phones be updated as fast as the rest of the world? NOT including self-flashing, only official updates. I never had a HTC phone so im not sure if theyre extremely region based like samsung, a few months late on the gingerbread upgrade in MY How was it like during the Gingerbread update phase? |

my sensation XE is lagging horribly in games (3d like restaurant story)
i heard its cause of sense, do they mean the launcher or the entire sense itself cause i heard new roms negate this issue. |

If i wanna get warranty for anything wrong with my phone, will they accept a S-OFF phone with the stock rom or do i need to S-ON it first?
I read S-ON is where the bricking might happen, but S-OFF is generally safe? is this true? |
